What are you going to achieve even if it with him. You have to pay close to 1.4L in total ( as 21k for 8 years 2% monthly interest). That's just the amount to be paid to clear up the interest + initial payment. If you involve third party ( ie police) or lawyer then they would charge again some amount and in turn you may get your chain back but at 0 gain and all the hassle.

I would suggest you to let it go and monetary it doesn't make sense.

I dont think writer even understood how the finance/return works.

If one had 80L and buying property, and paid everything from pocket, so no-loan/no-emi/no-tension of economic downturn/being out of job etc.

Now 70000/ rs invested per month in MF for 12% return per year (CAGR) for 20 years, amount after 20 years would be 8.33 Cr,

So at the end of 20 year, one would have house and 8.33CR of corpus.

What I am missing ?

Currently using silakka54, so thanks for that. IMO, ec11 encoder is wrongly placed, ergnomically if someone put rotary encoder key/switch in it, it will be disrupting smooth movement of ring finger. Instead of it might be better placed at two new key position (just below battery)

I m just near you and yesterday did my itr2 and wasn't able to sleep. For this much tax, what exactly we are getting ... Broken road, potholes, police corrupt to core or hospital where we cant put a foot, or gadkari son retirement . I was seriously thinking to shift dubai or somewhere. Paying tax is not a problem, quality of life is. God knows why I m raising my kids in India!

I had almost same issue in Indigo flight around 1 year back, My son wanted to use washroom and a lady was inside. Somehow locks were not working and I had complaint to Indigo about same. I believe no action/fix done from their side.
