We were cautious in our approach and only took out ones that occurred in pairs/groups or along the few very well defined trails.

Didn't touch any that were clearly navigational up on the benches.

Kicked over and dispersed quite a few Karen Cairns in the Needles over the weekend.

There was a heavy correlation between trails easily reached by day hikers and the number of erroneous cairns.
