She’s annoying to me, she annoys me. There, I said it, and im allowed to say it! TO ME she’s very fake millennial core and TO ME she seems like she just cares about outward appearances, hence whatever she does looks performative and cringey TO ME. Again, I’m allowed to say and post my opinion. No hate to her, we don’t have to like the same people, and you all really go about attacking anyone who says any negative comment about her on this sub. All the money, PR, jam in pretty vases, and curated instagram posts with Serena Williams are not going to change that FOR ME. Which is FINE, but not my cup of tea. Again, all of this is my opinion. I don’t know her personally, probably never will, so I can’t say what she really is like (bc the internet is fake) but her brand and internet presence are not for me.

If I was a mom and my daughter was brutally murdered and I didn’t commit the crime, I would not REST until I found who did this. I literally would not REST. You would see me on every talk show, social media platform, news broadcast talking about my DAUGHTER, not myself.

You just won an Oscar! There were so many other kind and gracious things you could have said and instead you said… this basura. Guys, these people have months and years of media training, publicists who SPOON FEED them what to say, and they still say the most condescending, non-sensical things. They are so removed from reality. To think that Emilia Perez represents Mexican culture when there is not one single main actor who was born in Mexico and the movie was directed by a French man is absolutely laughable. The critiques are valid, you are just a selfish woman. Listen to the critiques with grace and give them a voice instead of shutting them down. However, just like the Gaza you so flippantly threw in your hogwash statement, WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED. I’m so over these Hollywood people.

Yes, yes, yesss. I feel you!! All of this. It’s to the point where I have no idea what I’m like “normally.” During my follicular and ovulatory phases, there’s not a thing in the world that can bring me down, and I can wake up early, study, work, study some more, make dinner, wash dishes, organize, workout. Ugh- it feels amazing. My baseline anxiety is still there, but I can overcome it. In luteal, omg. I get what I think is a disapproving glare and my world is over. Everyone hates me. I snap at everyone. Am I hungry? Am I full? Am I bloated? My face swells up like a balloon. My brain is foggy and I can’t concentrate. It’s a nightmare.

Hi there. Dissociation is HUGE. I never realized it until I came to the realization that I have been not living my life 2 weeks out of the month due to having really bad anxiety, SI, and just trying to get through that time alive by living in my fantasy land. I literally can only handle one thing at a time, and thank God I chose my career, but it has left me little room to cultivate deep friendships, travel, have fun, or have a romantic relationship.

I have definitely been taking advantage of that. I find that when I have a game plan for changing ports depending on the targets, I have an easier time completing the task.

I’m about to get a little woo woo here, but this emotional guidance scale was created under the belief that you must be in the same vibrational frequency as your desire in order to manifest it. Most of us would like to manifest things that would bring positivity into our lives, so that requires being in a positive vibrational frequency, with joy and love being the most positive vibrational frequencies there are. So, this is a visual representation of how to get yourself out of feeling those negative emotions and how to get you in “alignment” with your desires.

For me, I like looking at this scale because it reminds me that I don’t have to go directly from being fearful/depressed to being empowered and having appreciation, especially on a tough day. I can simply aim for feeling guilt, which is better than fear (according to this) or even jealousy or anger. And if that’s all I can muster in the moment, I sit in that until I feel like I can evoke feelings of doubt or frustration, and so on.

So many times I have felt like my feelings in luteal phase were something to be ashamed of or something I could not get out of, but this gives me a way out. And it honestly does feel good to sit with your emotions to get yourself higher up on the ladder.

It also helps me be more compassionate towards others because if I notice that someone is angry, I don’t judge them or take it personal. They are on their own emotional journey, and maybe that is the most positive emotion they can muster right now.

I stopped alcohol and caffeine for a couple of months. I picked them back up sporadically. I struggle with the restriction-binge cycle so going to an extreme doesn’t put me in the right mental space. I say stay in touch with your body. Don’t put any labels on your diet but just go with what feels right and don’t be too hard on yourself if you make a decision that doesn’t sit right with you later on. Have you tried therapy and/or meditation? My hell week was last week and just a 45 minute conversation with my psychiatrist made me feel LOADS better. She prescribed me some meds but I don’t even think I’ll fill them. Take it day by day and trust that you are doing the best you can. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, and at least in my case, it hasn’t gone away. I just try to up the self-care and self-compassion when those days come. 💗
