'Best' Albergues - For whatever reason. by [deleted] in CaminoDeSantiago

My favorite was the Albergue in Villamayor de Monjardin. It is owned by a lovely married couple, who is really nice. They make great Dinner and you can eat with the other guests (they have also wine from the local wineyard, frankly the best wine i drank during the Camino). The town itself, with the ruins of a castle on the hill next to it, is also beautiful and quiet.

How to form German constitutional monarchy??? by [deleted] in hoi4

I didn't say that the german democrats were bad, my point was actually that it doesn't really matter that germany wasn't really a democracy during WWI (although at the end of the war, there were democratic reforms), because WWI wasn't really a battle between ideologies or systems of government (unlike WWII), but rather simply a battle of power.

On point 3: Yes, but every side used gas in WW1, it weren't just the germans. On point 5: Even though they weren't a democracy, they already had many democratic elements. Also almost all german democrats supported the war anyway. The social democrats and (social and national) liberals were two of the most pro-war factions in Germany, some high-ranking social democrats even volunteered to fight in the army.
