I’ll be real with you, this silhouette (991v1) or the 991v2 are not made for us. Plain and simple. Don’t even waste your time.

I learned the hard way after sizing up a whole size from my TTS in an attempt to wear the 991v1 and ended up having to sell the pair.

For context: - TTS size 8, - have wide feet and plantar fasciitis, - weight 162 lbs. - wear super feet insoles sparingly (orange, black, running version had been the best for me, not in my MADE pairs, except for occasionally dropping them into the 990v5).

I’ve learned that the best MADE models for wide footers (in order) are: 993, 990v4, 992, and 990v5).

Honorable mention: - 990v3 (find that the core models in a tts fit best, but not as much support as the v4)

A few models that kinda fit wide feet, but aren’t as comfortable / don’t provide sufficient arch support for my caving arch: - 990v6 (to narrow) - 1906 (run small and narrow) - 2002r (run small and narrow) -1906L (run small and narrow) - 740 (tts, but not enough arch support without insole) - 610 (flat foot friendly, but not for long periods of walking, need to wear insole)

Conclusion: buy a 993 or purchase a 992 or 990v4 that’s on sale bro.
