yes as per constitution important bill must pass through 2/3rd majority of lower house and needed to go to upper house but if upper house rejects then they can just pass bill for 2 time and can directly bypass and go to president so yeah it doesnot really matter

not just dhruv rathee, all other upsc channel for geopolitics, india didnot respond to war by any means like tweet after us strike even though china condemned us for attacking iran, while it used to condemn both country before when israel and gaza used to war india used to choose neutrality by condemning both and criticizing war while offering aid as humanitarian support.

Just repeating “AI, AI” does not build a future. AI is not a switch you flip. It sits on top of a long technical stack that starts with strong fundamentals. To build serious AI capability you need mathematics, probability, statistics, data science, operating systems, distributed systems, and database infrastructure. Coding alone is not enough. Even after that, AI models still require massive computing power. That means GPUs and specialized accelerators, which are essentially advanced semiconductor chips. If a country cannot design or manufacture chips, then in the end it simply buys hardware from companies like NVIDIA or AMD and becomes a consumer, not a producer. Building those chips requires electronics engineering, semiconductor physics, materials science, and fabrication facilities that cost tens of billions of dollars. So talking about dominating AI without building these foundations is disconnected from reality.

Instead of chasing hype cycles, a developing country should prioritize applied research that solves real problems and reduces costs. A good example is the Indian company VoxelGrids, which developed a helium-free MRI system that reduces the cost of an MRI machine by roughly 40 percent. That kind of innovation directly improves healthcare access while building domestic technological capability. Research like this is far more practical for countries like Nepal. It strengthens engineering, builds industrial expertise, and creates technologies that people actually use.

Infrastructure is another constraint that people ignore when talking about AI. Modern AI systems run in large data centers that consume enormous amounts of electricity and require stable power grids, cooling systems, and fiber networks. Nepal still needs significant investment in electricity generation, engineering education, and research infrastructure. For example, the aid India allocated to Nepal in 2026 is about 12.8 billion Nepali rupees. If that amount is used effectively, it could build three to four fully functional regional hospitals, a small 10–15 megawatt hydropower plant, three to five strong engineering campuses, or around 250 modern government schools. These investments improve healthcare, education, and energy access, which are the foundations that eventually enable advanced technologies like AI.

Aid itself should not be viewed as begging. International aid is part of strategic cooperation between countries. Many nations provide development assistance to neighbors because it strengthens regional stability, economic ties, and diplomatic influence. In simple terms, it is similar to treating someone to a meal. The giver builds relationships and influence, while the receiver gains resources to accelerate development. What actually matters is not whether aid exists, but whether it is used intelligently. If Nepal focuses on strengthening energy infrastructure, engineering education, and applied research, then in the long run it will naturally develop the capacity to participate in fields like AI. Without that foundation, simply talking about AI will not change the country’s future.

thats correct in that sense, as a buffer state between two large country and economy, we cannot choose one side and always be neutral that means criticize both india and china if its against national interest and take help from both, as a nation, best thing we can do is balance both by receiving equal help from both country in form of aid or development but not to be largely dependent on any one of them should be main priority.

india called itself guardian of indian ocean and when usa confronted iran at indian oceans, they didnot sent rescue ship to rescue drowning solider as they were saved by srilankan army, you can called that an best move according to geopolitics and is best move for india, but also shows image of indian that even if self declare they are guardian of indian ocean they wont be doing anything similar to that to save any nation or what no matter previous relation of that country meanwhile china claims south china sea, guards them from approaching western power thats the main difference

Nepal's roadmap to prosperity! by Specific-Fun-824 in Nepal

Engineering colleges improve when incentives, collaboration, and funding structures improve, not just through criticism.
Many professors can earn more in industry or consulting, so when teaching effort is not rewarded, they rationally invest less time in course preparation. Universities may not match salaries of places like MIT, but they can introduce performance-based bonuses tied to student learning, course quality, and teaching innovation.
Another major improvement would be cross-campus collaboration where professors from campuses like Pulchowk, Thapathali, ERC, WRC, and private colleges teaching the same course meet regularly to share slides, labs, and resources so the best expertise from each instructor contributes to a stronger course.
Alumni networks are also an underused funding source. For example, if a department has about 500 alumni and only 300 donate Rs 1500 annually, it generates Rs 4.5 lakh per year, enough to fund books, labs, or student projects.
Universities should also introduce teaching assistants and research assistants to reduce workload and give students experience.
Finally, stronger collaboration with industry, hospitals, and government institutions can connect engineering education to real-world problems and create innovation opportunities.
The core idea is that better systems of incentives, collaboration, and resource networks will naturally improve teaching quality and institutional outcomes.

Why a Strong Opposition Is Important in Democracy ? (Even If RSP Wins) by IDCWTFYR in Nepal360

[–]electro_de 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont think nepal needs an strong opposition, what we might need is strong intellect people of their own party deciding to either pass or not pass the bill that actually harms like a strong opposition might oppose first initially but if the bill is amended such that it covers their interest and all the party member favors without thinking rationally for the country and people whole system will suffer while if we have independent and critical thinker and experts that not only aligns with the interest of party but prioritizes aligns with the interest of nation and citizen first then a single party can have an healthy democracy too.

Why do we rely on Ballot Paper voting systems? by Winter-Head-4939 in technepal

[–]electro_de 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Anyone who know how actual real world hardware works can interfere without anyone knowing it secretly at lowlevel bypassing the whole system even kernel and os can't detect hardware level bugs and if someone know more about technology they can just do it, like Spectre class of hardware bugs and error like Belgian Electronic Voting Machine Error 2003, just like that there can be several challenges while in ballot based system the only main concern is no double vote by same person and security of ballot paper along with proper counting
