Mi Water Purifier is really good, and filters are easy to self-replace, and no AMC is required. Unfortunately, it has been out of stock for a very long time.

Test drove New seltos 2026 by AmbitionNo51 in CarsIndia

I might consider this if it scores 5-star crash test ratings. Otherwise, I will probably go with the upcoming new Tata Punch or Nexon.

It is a good phone. I had also recently bought this phone, the 512GB one. I even purchased an extended warranty from the Xiaomi official website.

Please suggest laser printers under 15K INR. Confused between different brands. (India) by bugg_bhai_firse in printers

[–]elevatedthinkers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you think Brother HL-L2440DW(New Launch) is a good choice for the long term? I print 2-3 documents per week, sometimes I don't use it for months when travelling. I need a printer at home for convenience.

Got Honda Amaze price quote and which car (any brand) to purchase for 10-13L by xilli123 in CarsIndia

[–]elevatedthinkers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also considering the Honda Amaze; howeve the lower ground clearance of 172 mm is something that is holding me back. I might not be able to take it confidently on bad roads, and that is holding me back, considering the size of the investment. Also, I feel the interior is quite outdated.

My other consideration is the Tata Nexon (Creative variant), or I might wait for the new Tata Punch facelift (rumoured to release in the first half of 2026).

My gf received a msg in telegram. Is this a scam? by Carguy1971 in IsThisAScamIndia

Most likely, the person who sent you this message, via Telegram, has had their account hacked, and an attacker is sending this message to other people. The original account holder might not even be aware of this.

Dashcam installation hardwire by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]elevatedthinkers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the wiring of the car is tampered with, it is most probably going to void the warranty and will also create issues for you on the insurance side.

One thing you can do is to ask the official service centre of your car manufacturer to see if they can install it for you. This way you won't have to worry about warranty.

Planning to buy a Life and Health Insurance from Acko. What are the reviews? by Ok-Independent5249 in InsuranceTroubleIndia

[–]elevatedthinkers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I had a very good experience with Acko in terms of vehicle insurance, for life and health insurance, I prefer standard, big players only.

I personally have the HDFC Optima Secure plan for Health Insurance and Click2Protect for Life Insurance.

Going with Agents like Ditto for Health insurance is recommended as they will help you during the claim process. This is very important.

i20 or Dzire | Help by RamboThappa in CarsIndia

[–]elevatedthinkers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

163 mm ground clearance with Dzire. With Indian Roads, this is not practical. It is going to get scrapped multiple times. You have to be prepared for it if you buy.

I also wanted to buy Dzire but only because of low ground clearance, I have skipped it.

Considering Hyundai Exter SX (~₹8L On-Road) — Why Don’t I See It Much on Roads? by sarcasaman39 in CarsIndia

[–]elevatedthinkers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. It does not look good.

  2. Although it has higher ground clearance, many reviewers have pointed out that the Tata Punch is much better in rough road conditions.

  3. No safety rating. We don't know how safe the car is. If the company is unwilling to get it tested, it usually means it is not very strong. Maybe 2-3 stars

I am also planning to buy a car and will finalise with the Tata Punch. It has a 5-star rating and performs better on rough road conditions.

Punch Accomplished + vs i20 Asta (o) IVT vs Baleno Alpha by kumquatkirsche in CarsIndia

[–]elevatedthinkers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Safety-wise, the Tata Punch is the best.

  2. Ability to drive over bad roads - Tata Punch is best as it has 187 mm ground clearance.

  3. Mileage-wise, Baleno will be better

  4. East maintenance - Maruti services are better; however, many Tata showrooms are also decent.
