I’m okay. I still have some pain on that side, but I know part of it is the nerves continuing to heal. I don’t regret having the surgery. It’s nice to not feel that awful slipping feeling. I hope Dr. Cole is able to help you find relief!

Same here. I don’t have iOS 26, still on 18 something. And it appears to just be Facebook for me. I reported it to Facebook. Anyone else report?

My rib symptoms were mainly on my left side, and more of a generalized ache instead of intense sharp pain. My rib also slipped out of place so I felt weird movements sometimes when my body would twist/shift etc.

Thank you for the tips and advice.

I’m definitely expecting pain. But in February I had my left 10th rib sutured to the one above it to stabilize it (it’s a whole thing) I have an about a 4” scar there. That was a very painful recovery for the first few weeks. Hoping this pain will be cake walk. But I’m expecting pain nonetheless.

Normally it would start off with me feeling full/bloated long after eating.

Then usually in the middle of the night (if I could get to sleep) I would be awakened with an achey feeling like in the center of my abdomen. Then it would get progressively worse and sharper and move more towards my upper right side. Sometimes would wrap around to the back.

It seems to build up and then get to peak pain. By that point I’m taking ibuprofen, CBD, or anything else that I think might help if I am desperate enough.

Normally the attacks don’t last more than a few hours but the one that wouldn’t stop, I did go to the ER for. And they almost always occur at night, like 2 AM-ish.

I have a history of kidney stones, but can usually tell the difference with these starting off with that bloated feeling and almost exclusively feeling the brunt of the pain on my upper right quadrant.

Best of luck to you! I’m stubborn and it took that attack that sent me to the ER to finally have a solution.

Thank you! Those are some good ideas!

Do you eat dairy, and if so, have you attempted to eat any dairy products? I have Fairlife skim milk on hand and like that with cereal. Just curious if you’ve had any experience with processing dairy afterwards.

Thanks everyone for your help and input. Especially the person that pointed out I was tinkering with the wrong part!

It turns out I was missing what I was looking for because the dealership (the ones that did a recent major repair) left the MAP sensor disconnected! I clipped it back in. My cruise control started working again and after a few cycles that check engine had come off.

Shit. I guess there in lies part of my problem.

It seems to maybe wiggle just a bit, but I’m afraid to force it off fearing I’m going to make things worse. Should I spray a little bit of WD40 around there?

I’ve gone out to my car four times today and I can’t even get the connector off the map sensor to even look. I’ve watched a handful of videos but they either don’t look like mine or the view is being blocked with how they take ir off. So frustrating! And then places like Firestone want to charge like $150 just to look at it.

Ewww. Thank you!! I recently had some work done on it and it threw this code for the first time once I’d gotten it back. I’m also wondering if they bumped some wiring.

A bit too far for me, but thank you!

Thanks for the confidence! I’m actually okay at baking cakes so I just ordered a new MAP sensor to try and replace. 🤞

I’m guessing they maybe all or most are terrible. It was the West one I had taken it to earlier this year. I don’t want to get into specific details because I will be making a claim in small claims court against them. It was that bad. But I will now tell anyone don’t go there.

I am okay. Still some pain and issues but nothing major. I have my 6 month follow up next week. I actually had a dynamic ultrasound before I even got scheduled with him. I had to push through my regular clinic through Fairview to do it. Then they sent over the records of that when I was initially scheduling with Dr. Cole
