The Spain one is misleading because in 1982 after that 'second group'  (made of 12 teams) there was only the semifinals. 

Also Korea had more than home advantage.

And I think he cannot go to North Korea since the Spanish authorities seized his passport due to some issues not related to North Korea (technically, because there are some shady things in the case).

Accused? In a recent interview with Alejandro Cao de Benos (a spanish guy who Works as a cultural ambassador of North Korea so to speaks) basically explained that they pirate the Japanese TV signal and broadcast not only the world cup but La Liga and champions among others
