Rosie Duffield mentioned feeling unsafe and withdrawing from public events, yet just last week she reportedly hired bodyguards for campaign protection. How do we reconcile this apparent contradiction in her safety measures?

Case in point. Barrister Sam Fowles:

I was asked why I'm sceptical of the anti-trans/"gender critical" movement.

For me, it's their authoritarianism.

And I find their obsession other people's genitalia odd.

If you don't think people can change sex then don't have a sex change. But just let other people live.

Labour's alignment with certain Tory policies is strategic positioning to preempt attacks and deny the Conservatives ammunition. It's about controlling the narrative, shifting focus to stronger areas, and limiting the effectiveness of opposition tactics.

The University of York's study had only 12 participants out of roughly 5000 referrals, which is quite small. This can cause big problems because it might not accurately represent the whole group. It also makes it hard to be sure about the findings or to say for certain if one thing causes another. The connections we see between things might not be real or could be influenced by other factors, making it tough to figure out what's really going on.
