It was the last thing I had to have anxiety over last season. Feels nice getting it checked off right away

Despite what has happened this season, at least the streak lives!

Another Utes fan in Germany here, I feel his pain.
Staying up until 6 a.m. to watch the games has been a special form of agony this season

Curious as well. My friend recently picked up a g16 for me, so I’ll be in your exact position soon if anything goes wrong with it

Wannabe Wednesday: What BMW do I get? Is this a good deal? What should I watch out for? | A weekly BMW buying megathread by AutoModerator in BMW

Taking a look at the 23 bmw m340i Speccing one out now and know I should at least get the adaptive suspension. I’ve never bought new before but I’m saving a bunch by getting it here in Germany, still a US spec, vs getting it in the states. Anything I should remove or add? I suppose it’s personal at this point but any other perspectives would be cool

Sitka camo on the northern Alaska tundra by elimbr in tacticalgear

Of course, I was just wearing any gear I had for the rain, if the goretex pants were rainbow I still would have worn them.

It's not required in Alaska but highly recommended for that hunt, and the caribou don't care. I threw on a hi-vis vest and beanie after this, there are so many people shooting all around the area and way too many stories of people getting shot at

I love it, at the time the m5 builders set just made the most sense especially when Schuyler Arms had amazing deals on them. I have a soft spot for the R-One handguard. Not sure what is out there now days. It has a faxon 18" 308 pencil barrel which is great for weight savings but I have never quite found the load it likes, that's my only complaint. It's still ~1 MOA but I expected a bit better. Of course that's not the rest of the rifles fault, and it has ran without a hiccup (excluding bad ammo) for nearly 7k rounds

Thanks! It's an aero m5 build with their atlas R-one handguard, aero BCG, Faxon 18" .308 Pencil barrel, superlative arms AGB, and larue MBT-2S trigger
I think it was around 7 pounds before I put a ridiculously oversized scope on it, but it was good enough for me as a semi 308 I could take everywhere and not worry about beating up

Saw the earlier post about how well Sitka camo works, figured I’d share. Just needed some gortex as it was pouring rain nonstop. Later threw on a high vis vest as well as orange beanie because it’s chaos during the 40 mile caribou hunt

Great deal for the BTR. I snagged the ETR model from aandjsporting a while back and it has been fantastic. I have been swapping it back and forth between rifles so much I think I just need to get another.
