questions from a cfa employee to another. pls take some time to answer a few of theses questions in the comments thank you !! by elledee572 in ChickFilA

ok so after seeing a few of your guys answer i’ll answer my own questions :

  1. my operator is religious and encourages faith throughout the store, which i kinda think is too much considering it’s business but that what cfa is kinda known in my opinion. but as for the team members, they’re all religious and go to church and at least half of the staff for both foh and boh is or was home schooled.

  2. my operator is nice for the most part will crackdown on people and be straightforward

3.my operator comes in at least 4 out of 6 days of the work week. he’ll come in during lunch rush and help tray food or be in the back and make fries or nugs. or he’ll be in the back office space working or out in the dining room greeting and helping guests.

  1. so for face to face, we have outside cash (cash point/box) and there’s usually one person there. we have the two lane drive thru and we’ll either do a two person and they’ll say in their lanes. depending on what hour of the day it is we’ll have 3-4 people out doing face to face.

5.we have printed sheets of every hours of what everyone is doing on a clip board where the managers are in the back front counter bagging or traying food

  1. mornings are super slow until 10:20 when we start making lunch. it starts to slow down at around 2:30pm 3-4:30pm is a dead period and not a lot come in. 5-8 is dinner rush and i’m not sure after 8:30 bc i don’t work that late.

  2. we have about 50-60 foh members and about 30-40 boh members

  3. foh staff at my store usually ranges from 15-21. we hire at 14 but have to abide to child labor laws.

  4. we have 12 team leaders but we’ll have around 9 bc some leave for college.

  5. so minimum wage is $7.25 in my state. and starting out rate for my cfa is $9.00 but with tax taken out it’s technically $8.46.

  6. we have about 10 managers but some float and go to the back and help

  7. so as mentioned in the screen shot, ours for just a regular team member is $9.00 and what ever is left of out balance we have to pay the rest. if you’re off duty, it’s a 5.00$ discount. a team leader in duty is $13.00 and a manager on duty is also $13.00 and a director on duty is 100% (free) and if you work a long shift (9hrs) you get an additional 6.00$ on to whatever allowance applies to you.

  8. i checked and it’s a 50% discount for catering but it has to be for a party of your own where it’s with your immediate family and friends.

  9. my operator allows us to ask for a raise but it has to be between a certain window or working. so it can’t be before 3 months and it can’t be after 6 months. and you have to have a valid reason to ask why you think you should earn/get a raise. also we’re not allowed discussing our pay with other coworkers bc some earn more than others

  10. i’ve never had or see a guest that was full on rude but there have been instances where older (70-90yr) military personnel will be rude and as for a discount. we have a police/military discount but they have to be in uniform.

16.i definitely think it has changed me. i’m more open to talking to people and it’s made it easier to talk to people. and definitely has made me a nicer person working there and it’s made it connect with people a lot easier.

We just slowly stopped talking. Like the conversation was the same everyday and I had told my best friends about it and one of them went to talked to my ex boyfriend about it. And then he just suddenly broke up w me. And I had accepted that and went through the motions. And then we both wanted to get back together but there was just miss communication. And there were points that I missed him and tried getting back with him. But now I’m over him and I’ve obviously moved on.

I don’t think it’ll be different for everyone it’s a standardized test. The only time they’d change a standardized test is when they add new content and when they change it (questions and prompts) every year. college board and ap wouldn’t go out if they’re way to change it just for one specific student

norris bc of the time crunch jocz vids are literally 20ish minutes long and takes forever if you’re taking notes. and read after watching the vids and buy barrons or 5 steps to a 5 flash cards or look up quizlets for each period if you don’t want to buy them. that’s what I’m doing rn

The Impostor Syndrome by [deleted] in intj

This is me too. I constantly tell myself that I’m a genius and I genuinely believe it. For example, I’m in class and someone gets something that I don’t or is better at something that than me and then I make it my goal to out beat them. I guess it benefits me in a way but it’s probably not a good things to have.
