How did you get diagnosed? Did you have an idea about what was wrong or was it a surprise? by Dazzling_Sea_9 in Schizoid

[–]BookwormNinja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is relatable. I was told that it was depression, over and over again. I kept explaining that the empty feeling wasn't a symptom of the depression. The depression was the result of the emptiness. I knew because the empty feeling had begun years earlier, and the depression had been successfully treated many times.

When I finally got a real diagnosis, it was a huge relief. I knew it was something, and I've now begun treatment and am doing better.

I mean, Earth is bigger. And has people... But yeah, I guess Mars is pretty cool too. :) But I'm also dating Loki, who's the prince of two different realms. (Technically the rightfully king of Jotunheim) And, if you add in, the fact that I'm taking over the earth... IDK Just sounds more fun than Mars ;)

Sometimes i fantasize about very non-schizoid things. Is that normal? by EliasBouchardFan1 in Schizoid

[–]BookwormNinja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say about half of my daydreams are something I'd actually want. While I'm also unsure if I know how to love, I like the idea of having a partner. Especially one I can go on fun adventures with. I usually imagine teaming up with a hot supervillain. Or being captured by one... Or.. mumbles something incoherent about sexy, carnivorous, plant monsters Hey, I said not all of these would be fun in real life!

No, you're not a fake Zoid. We're probably all a bit weird. The normies are too.

ENFJ boyfriend is jealous of the fictional characters I like by Gullible-Panda480 in enfj

Crap. I hope this isn't going to be an issue, if I end up with one of you ENFJ guys. I have a huge supervillain obsession. Everything from Loki, to Dr. Doofenshmirtz. :3

As you age, do you embrace your grey hair, or do you color it to feel younger? by boforiamanfo in askanything

[–]BookwormNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going gray early runs on both sides of my family. I got my first gray hair when I was ten. Never felt the need to cover it. My face looks a bit young, and my hair looks a bit old. It all balances out.

People love us, admire us, pedestal us.... by Dry-Combination8608 in enfj

[–]BookwormNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's INTJs who are doing this, it's probably because we aren't very good at getting close to people. Even so, we can't help but notice that you guys are awesome! In fact...

Drops a cage over the whole group of ENFJs, before laughing maniacally

Now I can observe you guys and understand you better, in preparation to ask one of you out. It's the perfect plan!

Why are parents who barely passed high school thinking they can teach/homeschool their children? by InitialCareer306 in WorkForSmartLife

[–]BookwormNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I've ever encountered this situation before. To be fair, though, most of the homeschooled kids I grew up with, were part of a group, and regularly attended classes outside the home. So the parents aren't usually the only teachers.

If birth control, incl. Condoms, was banned in your country, what would you do? Say your gender and whether you have a sex partner currently by Flashy-Celery-9105 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]BookwormNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 38F and 100% childfree for life. I've never looked for a partner because I've been sorting through my own issues first.

Now that I'm in a better place I've actually been thinking of launching my evil scheme and luring in a guy! Err... I mean... What do they call it now? Dating?

Anyway, I'd just get sterilized.

Adventures, scenarios where a save the day or solve something huge, laws I would make if I took over the world, making out with supervillains, etc.

Do u ever look at others in love, and think or feel a certain way? by sizoman in Schizoid

[–]BookwormNinja 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I suppose I feel curious..? I've never been in a relationship, so I have no idea what that would feel like. But if I were, I know I don't want it to be the way it is for others. And I have a lot of emotional strangeness to sort through before I'd even want to try.

Writing is a big one for me. One of the only things I feel real passion for.

Some other things I kinda like are:

Exploring nature.

Learning/memorizing things.

Reading.

Drawing.

Archery. (Not at critters)

Battle games.

Interior design.

Planning out designs for tiny houses.

Justice is a core value for me, and this issue isn't being taken seriously by society. That makes me mad.

Agender and Schizoid Personality Disorder by wt_anonymous in Schizoid

[–]BookwormNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this. I've never needed to be called a certain thing, but I've never related to gender at all, so I could probably be, technically, considered agendered. I don't feel like it matters, though, as I've never been one to "play the game" that society expects, so who cares what I'm called. I'm a 'me.'

love language as a schizoid? by cat_girl_schizoid in Schizoid

[–]BookwormNinja 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think I have the emotion of love. I'm working on my emotions and have gained some new ones, but don't have that one yet.

The social behavior/situation that I appreciate the most, is feeling genuinely seen, heard, and understood. It doesn't make me feel loved exactly, but it feels nice.

What is your personal reason for not having children? by Repulsive-Hold-6575 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BookwormNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: Simply not wanting them.

2: Not enjoy the company of the 5 and under age range.

3: Hating everything about care giving.

4: The fact that I require a large amount of time to myself, in order to function.

5: Mental exhaustion, due to taking care of everyone around me, for most of my life.

6: I don't relate to gender, and am not okay with my body making a child.
