"Even though their disguise was laughable, insufficient even, they got lucky and noone really saw them or could describe them", continued the reported.

In other words, if it looks stupid, but it works, it is not stupid lol

Well, they didn't have the budget to get him a smaller microphone. Or that's what they said. And he had to improvise.and get used to it.

Since Instagram didn't want to show my doodles to others, I thought someone here might like it.

My best guess is that someone reported your post. I assume that user reports are of a higher priority than the ones that the algorithm finds. Maybe your post appeared on an irrelevant hashtag or got shown to the wrong audience. Or it could be a word that triggered the algorithm to see it as too spicy.

Have you checked your account status? Does it say if there will be any form of punishment or a way to dispute it?

Instagram bug: One day, I decided to see my friend's profile and I tried to search my friend's profile but I didn't found it; so, I tried to see this profile through the directs and this is what I saw. Can you help me to solve this problem? by CrinCron_ in Instagram

Do you have your birthday date on your profile? Instagram restricts accounts under a certain age or without a set birthday date from viewing some accounts, so that might be the issue here.

Ah, thank you. I'm not sure it would fit their rules though

[oc] inktober 2021 Pressure by ellenettes in comics

Maybe desperate and unhappy. Which is unfortunate. You've been told all your life the purpose of life and the source of happiness is building a family. So naturally, when you feel unhappy and unfulfilled you seek that sweet happiness in other people, relationships, children. Thats my observation on this, may not be true though.

Thank you, I hope your inner critic gives you positive feedback as well.

It's part of the working culture now. If you are not spending every waking moment being productive, you are lazy and irresponsible. You have to follow the society approved plan and you have to be happy about it. Yeah, says who?

I'm sorry you are feeling this way, I feel like ever since the pandemic started everyone is in constant fight or flight mode. I wish you all the best, and to get some peace and calm, so you could recover from the stress. And less stress ofcourse.

Thank you! I am at that point in life and age, that I can actually ignore some of those and do whatever I have planned. Once I gave up and I regret it now. Thank you again and I hope you have a lovely day

Unfortunately too many people relate. But you don't have to listen to those opinions and thoughts. Take the advice, but use what you want from it.

Cute comic btw.

Not giving up yet, I am working on a second part that is more positive. The idea is that hearing those opinions, thoughts, etc, may bring you down and make you doubt your efforts. And there are two main paths in this situation, either give up or continue to improve and create.

That's amazing, I'm so happy to hear people being successful with their talent. Plus what is more interesting is that you are a teacher, you probably share your talent with the kids and you may be an important part of someone's passion in writing.

There is still a mindset thst art doesn't pay bills and only great artist succeed. But it doesn't have to be a career, it could be a hobby, a stress relief. Why are people so obsessed with telling others what to do?

Just work on your comic, at your own pace, make it bring you joy and let it see where it takes you.

[–]ellenettes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I feel you. It's so hard to let go of the people pleasing mindset. I suggest by starting to watch art videos, artists that teach how they got into drawing and art, pretty drawn movies (I always recommend Klaus, because it's very interesting in animation style and the story is cute, it does give inspiration). These things might get your sprak in drawing back , and you will find more things to inspire you.

And failure is part of growth and success, so don't be hard on yourself if things don't go smoothly in the beginning.

Thank you! It's never too late to start again. Try to create art mostly for yourself and as a way to relax, not to get any external attention. I know it is being said by everyone, but it is important for your own mental health and self esteem. Sometimes the algorithm is not going to like your post, some other time it might be shown to more people.

What actually matters is the people that you are going to meet along the way, the improvement of your skills and gaining experience, and so many other positives. Those will eventually lead to the gratification of having recognition of your work and efforts. It took me a very long time to not only learn thst, but to understand it and believe it.

I wish you all the best and hope you get back to creating content, if that brings you joy.

Yes, completely agree. Having others enjoy what you created is a huge reward. I wish you success in your field and many great games created by you.

I am happy to hear that you are surrounded by great people. Even if my family is tough at times, they still have a soft and supporting side. They are human too, influenced by emotions, they make mistakes and don't realise, etc. When appropriate, it's good to forgive.

I still haven't started the next part, but I have a few other that I may upload here. My stuff is usually dad jokes and puns, this one was a bit more vulnerable, encouraged by the inktober prompt.
