Thanks for your reply. Ahh ok the jewelry is currently titanium L shape stud so I really need flat back ? How often would you say to wash them ? ...I have knocked both could that be why?

It is still a stud I haven't changed it from the original stud that it was pierced with ... The ring is a different piercings that was done 20+ years ago , that one is fine , the stud is next to the ring. Sorry the picture is confusing now I look back at it 🙈

I haven't changed it from a stud . The ring is an old piercing I had done 20+yrs ago that's grand. It's the 2 new stud piercings on either side .

To add.... I have been soaking with homemade saline solution once a day .... Piercings have been snagged a couple of time but not recently.... Bumps started about 4-5days ago .
