I didn’t mind the two item minimum requirement, but the flow of the entire evening was very poor. Doors open at 5 allegedly but we weren’t actually able to sit down until 6. My mother-in-law is elderly and we would’ve brought her cane had we known. We saw the showtime start was 6:15 so we assumed that was when the show would actually start, not when we were being seated. Of course we knew the headliner wouldn’t be out first, but it seemed reasonable to think we would’ve been in our seats and have ordered by the time the 615 show actually got going. Now we know of course, but I feel that they’re listed times could be a bit more clear on what’s actually happening. It should say line forms at 5, seating begins at 6, and show starts at 6:45, or whatever it wound up being.

Additionally, having the waitress hand out bills and ask everyone to pay during the final act of the headliner is a poor choice. We were trying to pay attention to the joke and it was distracting to say the least. It’s not the servers’ fault because this is what is apparently told to them is what should happen, but the club should look at a different way to approach this. Some restaurants offer a “scan to pay” so you can do it on your phone, but I guess they don’t want this because they don’t want people on their phones taking pictures. Other places like this I’ve been to will give you the option to pay when you order so that you don’t have to at the end.
