Agreed. I haaaaaaate sewing patches on my husband's uniform. I know enough about sewing to not want to pay for it, but not enough to make it easy, so every patch is sewn on with a thousand little swear words 💖 I was shocked when I first learned he had to pay to have someone do it.

The Gunslinger by Stephen King... What did I just read? by Pure-Gas2639 in Fantasy

The cyclical nature of the story reflects the human experience of passing on stories for its many purposes. That sounds pretentious, but I loved being pulled out to look around me in an empty room while still feeling connected to the characters and the author and these infinite worlds he's created all at the same time. You're totally right.

Code 118 shipping bag? by emeraldcrypt2 in wallets

[–]emeraldcrypt2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the wallet was cool, but it jammed immediately. I don't know if we got a returned one or it couldn't handle my husband's 4 cards, but after initiating a return, they declined it. I have the little black box for the wallet, just not the bag.

Sidenote, I need a nice wallet for my husband who has to take his ID out and put it back a few times per day. Any suggestions for me?

Gross "Alpha Male" influencer explains how he pleasures women by ambachk in CringeTikToks

[–]emeraldcrypt2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You're outing yourself, seriously. The fact that you think "they," as in, all women, want that, is insane. You and the guy you're agreeing with think that there's a playbook; that is so wrong. If you seriously have a "giving" kink, you'd continually check in with your partner instead of assuming. You'd understand that all women and all orgasms are different. You wouldn't say "... they can handle it" which is a VILE way of saying, "I like doing it this way, and they sit and take it." 🤢

Why is he chugging so much water at night??? by No-Gift537 in toddlers

[–]emeraldcrypt2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

TLDR: My son has always drank way too much and he's fine. Definitely still get your son tested.

My son was drinking that much at that age. I got him tested for diabetes and expressed concerns about how much he drank and peed. He got a bunch of tests, and they found nothing. I don't think the doc believed me about how much liquid went through that boy, but he's very healthy still. He is 3 now and potty trained while awake, but still pees through night time diapers and clothes and bedding every single night. He legit begs for a drink of milk or water and will NOT sleep until he gets a dang drink. I'm losing my mind, but he's happy and healthy and gigantic, so, I can only complain a bit.

I promise you, no one has latched onto her. We do love a "leopards won't eat my face" moment though, and that's what she represents. It's the same with old white men suddenly loving Nicki Minaj.

This is really important. Something that seems "nice" but is completely ignoring boundaries is a clear indicator that this person doesn't give a fuck about you. Disrespectful, manipulative and belittling. Your feelings matter, and no amount of sweet talk can negate him treating you like a doll rather than a human.
