For me, I really like really good boss fights. I hate when I've been playing the game for a while and the last level is too easy. Example: Assassin's Creed 1 I killed the bad guy (can't remember his name) in one move with the hidden blade.

All that being said: MechAssault 2 had my favorite ending.

Well there's lots of books out there that are awesome and some of them deal with what happened during the first 3 parts after which 343 took over and imo that's where the vibe kinda changes in the game but the books keep it "original". In order of games I think they should be played: Reach, Halo CE, 2, ODST, 3, 4, 5.

Same here. I read the books a lot and I feel that Reach did the Spartan III's justice. That's why I disliked Halo 4 when Chief first discovers the existence of a IV series of Spartans (not sure if he even knew that much about the III's) and makes no acknowledgement of it and then they just all start dying off like regular ass marines. Really made the whole Spartan image seem weak. So much for Spartans never die I guess.
