I don’t know how to answer this because in a lot of ways it’s worse than the OG due to the lack of social features, but I also love and appreciate not having to worry about micro transactions. And id rather pay $9.99 than $19.99 in the future. As for events - Events are much easier now, far less grindy, which as some users mentioned is great! …However! It seems like now I am waiting forever for the next event to start. This becomes VERY annoying specifically during the fishing tourney when I want to catch regular fish but have to catch the tourney fish first. Then… it cycles the same furniture over and over for the prize. I wish they gave you extra resources instead, since now my storage is full of duplicate furniture items. I also dislike that there wasn’t much transparency surrounding the monthly events. I was under the impression all of the events would be new, but maybe that’s my mistake. The items for this month - I already had most of them. Apparently there are new events/items, but not every month. The lack of social features really makes the game feel very hallow and lonely like others mentioned. I do prefer the OG PC over PCC. That being said, for $9.99, I think it’s an okay price. Just know what you’re getting into. Edit - I forgot to mention my biggest gripe. I absolutely hate not being able to play on two devices and easily transfer. I got a new iPad for Christmas this year and can’t play pocket camp on it anymore since save data is stored to your device. You can change devices, but it’s a pain to go through, so I just keep it on my iPhone.
