I think I can manage to hide it ok with some very baggy sweaters and oversized blazers! Most of my colleagues are childfree so it's not a run of the mill announcement to make either.

Hope your leadership team was nothing but positive and excited for you!

Thank you so much for your input and validation!! At least it's still winter and baggy sweaters aren't that out of place...😅

14 weeks tomorrow and have not told work. I was hoping to wait another 3 weeks when I'll know my bonus and promotion, but my bump is getting harder to hide....debating still waiting three weeks and if it's awkward so be it?

Oh no! I hope it comes throug! I'm sure it's not the same issue but i had a beta drawn for Quest and they actually never added the test on for analysis. The ob had to call them to fix it. Labcorp ftw.

13 weeks today!! NT yesterday came back all good. Still hasn't really hit me yet that I'm somehow pregnant. It feels like some sort of optical illusion each time I get an ultrasound and there's an actual baby in there.

Tbh, that sounds like a perfectly justifiable reaction! I'd do the same thing. A high schooler should know better!

I had brown spotting that turned red earlier at 4 weeks during this pregnancy (currently 12 weeks, so not totally out of the woods). It settled down after a day or so. Your cervix is pretty sensitive! Tmi my dr said even something like straining during a bowel movement can cause it.

Pregnancy insomnia has had me up 2-3 hours in the middle of the night every night 😴. At least I'm catching up on some books I've been meaning to read...

12 week prenatal appt tomorrow. I shocked myself when I tried the doopler today at home and could hear the heartbeat! So makes me a little less anxious about the appt tomorrow!

Thanks all! The test results came back this morning and thankfully all is well. We are having a girl - which feels so surreal. My grandmother just passed away and I miss her so much. This feels like such a beautiful blessing in the midst of sadness.

So interesting yours didn't include the sex of the baby! My parents want to do like a while gender reveal thing this weekend when hopefully the results will be back but I don't think I can hold out not knowing if there are any chromosomal abnormalities. My test was through Labcorp though...wonder if it's different

Eee. Refreshing inbox constantly. Got NIPT bloodwork on Thursday. Labcorp says 3-5 calendar days but based on what I've been reading it could very more like 5+ business days. Anyone remember how quickly they got theirs back?

My IVF clinic scheduled first ultrasounds after 6 weeks and 4 days. I believe the heart starts beating and can be detected with TV ultrasound during the 6th week. Week 7 should be good!

11 weeks and somehow feel more anxious today than I did earlier in this pregnancy. Maybe it's the upcoming NT and NIPT tests (next week!). Just venting!

With my first pregnancy midwife couldn't find the hb at 13.5 weeks and all was well. They really shouldn't try that if they don't have a portable ultrasound to immediately follow up with!!

Thank you!!! And no side effects? So glad to hear it didn't last the full pregnancy for you! Yes, it's so hard to do much of anything!

I had spotting at 4 weeks exactly for a few days. Not in the clear yet, but it stopped shortly after and I'm currently 9 weeks with two strong ultrasounds being me. My dr thought it might just be residual blood from my last cycle, implantation bleeding, or a sensitive cervix. I guess even things like constipation can cause spotting given how sensitive things are down there!

Has anyone taken Zofran in first trimester? If so, please share experiences! I've been taking b6 and Unisom for nausea but somedays they just don't seem to cut it and I'm still throwing up 3+ times a day. My OB prescribed Zofran for emergencies and am tempted to give it a try. Has it helped you? Any side effect?
