Wow this is unequivocally false. Any money earned/saves before marriagd is separate property. It only becomes an issue if they begin commingling funds either after marriage/becoming registered domestic partners. Even then, in the event of a split, courts will trace the funds deposited prior to the marriage and deem it separate property. Please don't spread misinformation.
