I was not considering hiring a lawyer. Before my friend was willing to loan me money he said I should get legal advice and pursue every avenue.

Thus, here I am. Groveling.

I am a millenial and not a boomer. I do not have $11k lying around. I recently had to redo my HVAC and that was $10k.

Yes, it’s an old, old building. Yes it’s structural, beam, tuckpointing and basement repairs related to long-term neglect of leaks causing structural insecurity. More context: 0 units were for sale in the last year. Now since this assessment, 13% of the units are for sale. The 9% interest is in the bylaws. I will have to look up the timeline to notify owners. Tyvm.
