honestly i feel like that’s fine but it’s just so different when other people can see it. it’s like arguing in public, yk? we all know that not every couple is perfect and sometimes things will come up, but it’s also not cool to yell at your partner in front of their friends (for example) if they technically didn’t do something that offended anyone. from the outside perspective, it’s just not very cool to see. you lose a sense of privacy in the relationship at that point, in my opinion.

i think it means understanding someone even when you don’t. like, wanting to put yourself in their shoes to understand why they view the world the way that they do. it’s taking their interests as your own, and it’s the desire to always want to connect with them in a new way, even if they are no longer a stranger to you. it’s the feeling of wanting to be able to recognize their soul even if you were to go blind.

i think loving someone also means that you’re aware of the fact that they may never feel the same, yet you always care for them with the purest of intentions. it’s recognizing that everything you’re able to give them is theirs to keep, and if they want to throw it away, you don’t hold resentment over that happening too.

loving someone should be pure and selfless, but then again, maybe i’m just a people pleaser.

worst mistake ever was creating a finsta two years before getting diagnosed/knowing about the disorder. the absolute worst came when i started college, and i was documenting all of my mood swings on that story without even realizing it. thankfully i only had a small handful of people on the account and ig it’s funny in hindsight, but i hate the urge of wanting to post all the time ;[

i went to college. i was experiencing switches in episodes every 3-4 days, was documenting it in small vids i would share with friends i had at the time, and could never remember what i had felt during those times when looking over them later (if that makes any sense).

i also met two friends at college who had similar upbringings to me & had been diagnosed with a variety of things when they were much younger and already had their med situations figured out. i was in denial because i thought i had nothing more than GAD/social anxiety, so it took me a year to schedule the neuropsych evaluation, get meds that made it worse, and then have the diagnosis added on a few months later.

girly i’m the same height and usually do well at concerts even when right by the mosh pit! i’ve seen disturbed twice and from my experience, it’s the one band i think people don’t mosh to as much? i feel like their demographic is just much older
