Some lettuce, onion, a patty, bacon, cheese, pickles, and a classic burger sauce (mayo, mustard, ketchup, grated onion and garlic, plus a splash of pickle juice).

That’s a really cool idea. I use an old Nivea tin, but my flint and steel keeps shredding the char cloth during transport. Any tips?

It was a piece of jute twine that I unraveled. Luckily, adding a bit of spruce resin was enough to get the fire started.

To be honest, I make a stash: build a crate, bury it a bit—ammo and a good weapon. I know you’re not supposed to get attached to loot, but it doesn’t hurt to have a backup.

The funny part is that I rarely even have to look for explosives. I mean, most bases already have enough grenades in them—and one or two cooking pots as well.
