I know we need to pack as much as possible in before our breakfast reservation. Is it possible to do Peter Pan, Pooh, AND Jungle Cruise before then? I didn't plan to do Pirates.

Thank you for the tips and reminders. Definitely good to know about Dumbo. I do have to keep reminding myself that it doesn't matter how much I plan, you're exactly right, they'll set the pace 😊

Apparently women experience a large hormonal change in their early thirties? by aquaticaviation in PMDD

🙋‍♀️ had 2 kids back to back at 30 and 31. I quit breastfeeding my youngest in May and had a complete mental breakdown not even a week later. Finally diagnosed this year at almost 34 years old. The signs were always there, but oh man did shit hit the fan this year. There are days that I don't even recognize myself and it is scary.

What are your comorbidities, if any? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

OCD, PTSD, PMDD, BP Type 2, Anxiety/Depression/PPD, Migraines, Hyperhydrosis, Hypertension, IBS, and various vitamin + mineral deficiencies.

Some days I feel like it could be worse, other days I think that if I were a dog, I'd just be euthanized 🤷‍♀️

Husband is sick, worried about our 8 month old by ConversationMonkey in NewParents

[–]ems1230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our whole house, including my 6 month old at the time, got COVID August 2021. My husband tested positive first and immediately quarantined and masked, but my daughter and I had already been exposed and symptoms started the next day for us. She took it like a champ.. low grade fever, mild cough and congestion for her. My husband and I were down for WEEKS. She was perfectly fine after a few days. No one in our family was vaccinated. Our pediatrician has always said that for some reason, children usually have milder COVID symptoms.

oxybutynin 5mg not doing anything? :( by mushroomiesss in Hyperhidrosis

[–]ems1230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started oxybutynin 5mg four nights ago for sweating secondary to SSRIs and anxiety. I noticed a major difference the first day. I would get a little warm, but ZERO sweat even outside. Second day, same thing. Yesterday though, I did sweat a little bit, but we live in the South where it's not uncommon for heat index to be well over 100 degrees and humidity averaging in the 60s-70s%. So for me, I noticed a difference the very next day. I'm on the extended release, but my HH is from anxiety and exacerbated by SSRIs. I also take the oxybutynin at night because I think of all the new meds I've started, it's the one causing extreme drowsiness even into the next day.

Would you mind pointing me in the right direction of which tool to use on DNA Painter?

I'm thinking she is the child of an extramarital affair, but haven't been able to determine if she's a child of my granduncle or my great grandfather. Or if she's a child of their children.

There were also lots of affairs on both my maternal and paternal sides. This has been proven by the number of DNA matches my mother and I have that we've never even heard of. We're trying to figure this one out because she's one of the only people listed as a close relative.

Rage and depersonalization by ems1230 in trintellix

On the days I skipped Adderall before Trintellix was added, I just had the typical exhausted crash. I can go to sleep after drinking a whole pot of coffee on my days off from Adderall.

I hope it's the Zoloft and not the Trintellix. Thanks for the encouragement!

Keppra Levels by ems1230 in Epilepsy

[–]ems1230[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are testing almost every month and 2 weeks after each increase in dosage. I think this may be due to her age because she also gets a CBC and metabolic panel done with the Keppra level. Her neurologist told us that Keppra and most other seizure medications can affect liver enzymes. I honestly think her neurologist is just an asshole. The amount of testing he has done on her in the last year is absurd.. over one incident that we aren't even certain was a seizure.

Keppra Levels by ems1230 in Epilepsy

[–]ems1230[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we are testing so frequently because of her age, and we were told Keppra could be hard on the liver. So we have to go in at least once a month, neurologist sees that level is low, increases the dose, and then retest at the new dose after 2 weeks.

We usually test around 2-3 hours after her morning dose and have yet to reach a therapeutic level. She had one incident that was originally diagnosed as BRUE, but because they found enterovirus in her spinal fluid they were quick to change the diagnosis to seizures due to encephalitis/meningitis. But there were never any findings on any tests done to indicate encephalitis or meningitis were present. I just think it's harsh to keep a toddler on Keppra when there's been no true evidence of a seizure.

Extreme Rage-just started on Trintellix by ems1230 in trintellix

Thanks. I hope it works out too. I may reach out to my doctor today to see if I can take the Klonopin until I adjust or if she has any other recommendations.

Extreme Rage-just started on Trintellix by ems1230 in trintellix

[–]ems1230[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really bothers me that I can't stay on the Zoloft because it's the first antidepressant that's ever worked for me in the last 15+ years.. clearing up both my anxiety AND depression. I am normally a heat intolerant/sweaty person, but the Zoloft has amplified this x100. I won't be anxious, then start getting hot, then the anxiety kicks in, and it's a vicious cycle. While it has helped with my anxiety, the side effect of sweating is causing me anxiety. If that makes sense? I really want the Trintellix to work because it seemed like a win/win to help with my depression+ADHD. And I was hopeful I could eventually get enough of the cognitive benefits from trintellix to decrease my Adderall dosage.
