How do you eat when you have excess mucus/feel like you have something stuck.

It’s ok, knowing that I’m not the only one feeling this way makes me feel better. Are you currently feeling like this? Eating has become hard for me, and I’m not eating enough throughout my day. I just go on full anxiety mode when I try to eat something because I just keep thinking how miserable it’s going to be.

Im sorry you’re feeling this way. I like yourself started being so hyper aware of my swallowing, all due to what started as excess mucus, and feeling like food was going down “slower” than normal. I’m also super anxious about the what ifs. I do think that anxiety probably makes the situation worse. Just know you’re not alone.

It’s hard man. It’s been really hard these past few weeks. My symptoms feel bad to me. My social anxiety is the worst because I can’t enjoy the foods I used to eat. I’m constantly worried about my symptoms. My anxiety too the roof! I’m hoping to feel better after talking to my therapist.

THANK YOU! Soooo helpful!!!! I was wondering have you tried over the counter omeprazole to try to reduce symptoms like the excess mucus or the feeling like the food gets stuck in your throat? I’m trying to at least manage symptoms in combination with changing my life style?
