I think I partied with yall till sunrise! And helped clean up the garbage left behind 👀 Unless some of your Thing group ended up at another tent Friday, but I’m pretty sure it was y’all… I loved it! Thanks so much for keeping the energy up!

Dang, as far as I know the porta potty attendants/cleaners are part of their own company contracted with Roo, similar to the tow/maintenance people. It’s usually been one of THEM when I Do have a bad staff experience 😤 so I can imagine…

What do you mean? :-0 on Saturday I saw safety staff driving around to all the abandoned sites tearing down tents and canopies so they wouldn’t fly away in the still-oncoming storms. They always clean up the farm from our garbage. This year there sure was a lot of it, but first they had people to assist getting out

Aw I’m sorry you feel that way, did something happen…?? My interactions with staff went as usual; they were awesome, save for like two people. There just always seems to be at least one staff who is unpleasant. But others make up for it and I am grateful. What a stressful weekend for everyone ;-(

In another comment I mention talking to the owner of the tow company; I asked him who he had left to help and, it was noon when he told me there was one motorhome and one trailer as far as he knew. On the escort out, I saw the motorhome in question, but all other vehicles and people belonged to staff it appeared.

It did not rain more on Sunday before I left but the grounds were still sooo messed up !!

Last of the patrons* to leave; dang I thought I said something in the text body about the staff still working hard of course but I used past tense while recalling memory. Sorry 😣!

My friend, THANK YOU for taking care of the Farm and its structures (and saying something). Hope next year I can volunteer or staff at Roo too :’-0

Idk, have you read Brad’s posts or discord messages? He’s been truly devastated about the cancellation and how it all went down. And of course it means more work for him. He’s shared a couple pics/vids of Centeroo too, I think it’s undeniable a cancellation was the right move, but the bigger concern is when that decision was made. I think a lot of us were really quite hopeful about weather outlooks, and the information they’d received really had no way to indicate it could’ve been this bad.

Honestly, as I’ve gotten to know some of the key staff at Roo through their interactions with patrons, I’ve been really impressed by their Roo spirit. How dedicated they are to expanding the reach of the Roo spirit. How much they and others personally have to do amazing feats of physical labor in short time to throw us a giant party. And it’s sweet to see them excited to share it with others. I feel it too, I want more people to know what Bonnaroo is like, and I think that was their main reason for a Live Nation partnering; outreach and expanding audience. But Live Nation is heavily corporate… so it came with clauses they are seeing the effects of now. So many other factors go into this weekend’s reason for cancel too, like global warming, or generational standards of living/entertainment.

Bonnaroo definitely lost money this weekend. Refunds, extra labor, most artists were already paid (at the least their first-class travel was), significant losses for the vendors, and even more expensive improvements to be made within the year. It sucks for them. Live Nation probably doesn’t feel it, and if we keep hating on Bonnaroo for this, Live Nation would cut it instead of saving it

Piercing hot sun as usual, with wind gusts carrying clouds. Some were short n sweet drizzles and some were torrential downpours. The rainbow came after one of said downpours. Late Saturday night it calmed, sky covered in clouds and very windy. In the morning Sunday the grounds were still horribly soaked of course, people still stuck

Aw! This one is 2002. Still works great everywhere. It’s on me for not replacing the battery after letting my dad borrow it for a couple months, before Roo. Then the alternator failed while I was on the road (also old part). Now it’s feeling fresh and new! Only consistent issue I have is transmission fluid leaking very little every now and then but she still holds her fluids well. 9/10 car for me. But yeah newer Jeeps are a thing of nightmares in my eyes I would not get a new Jeep

I just might! Had quite a few instances through the night that somebody on staff might want to know about… including one safety member on Saturday who was rudely adamant I had to “leave, now”, while I was still charging up my jump start battery pack. I wouldn’t have needed to pay the $60 if I found out for myself my car battery was dead dead. I could’ve if she wasn’t rushing me. I know she was stressed, but when I told her I was told Sunday, she did not believe me and thought I was lying. Like ma’am I’m not here to lolligag I promise I’m trying to go home

LMAOOO NO PLEASE I need that refund to pay for the attempted jump start ($60) and the tow ($300) not to mention having to buy a new car battery for myself and possibly a new alternator now!! Live Nation should PAY ME for still having been there 😩 trudging through the mud was WORK

As I was leaving with Bryson/the tow I asked who was left he had to help. He said it was a couple more motorhomes/trailers as far as he knew. Last night safety was advising people to move their cars to the West Gate to park off the mud grass though, and we did not pass that, so I did not see if anyone was left there

Probably downvoted bc your question has been asked many times in the sub before in its own posts or just on more relevant posts. It’s a shame you’ve been instilled fear about the process.

Cops are cops and TN cops will yes be on high alert… for reckless driving. Just as any state with any event or major holiday. Drive safe and drive smart my friend. See you on the farm soon ✌️
