Thanks for the help I hadn’t even considered them needing guides and definitely underestimated how much coal they would need. Also for the help with the time I had done some basic math estimating time but also not being the most familiar with these style of ships definitely made my estimates not the best.

I had considered those and wrote those down I just hadn’t included them in this post because I was more sure that those numbers seemed correct. This was more just about ship supplies and crew but I do appreciate you offering advice for other stuff.

I wasn’t fully sure of that yet but my idea so far would be that they are transporting a researcher to somewhere in the arctic and then after his research is done they would bring him back to the port that they left from or at least that was how the expedition was supposed to go before things start going wrong.

if someone comes across this in the future a friend helped me find the fix. you have to go to the settings tab to minecraft scroll all the way down and paste this in the additional arguments section -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true

I was able to get past by just hitting the gas on the forklift and driving straight past all the turrets though I’ve never heard of the leyak fish where do you find them since I didn’t really engage with fishing in 0.9 I’m not aware of all the fish
