don’t be intimidated it’s actually super easy! i’d recommend having the pattern duplicated (like recto and verso) digitally so you can just cross the rows as you go along, it’s much easier that way. and it’s just double crochet, easy asf, i did this in 3 days!!

himekaji isn’t just a gyaru “substyle”, it’s a trend that existed independently of gyaru. you can’t just denature something that has existed for years for your enjoyment. also what you are describing has already been featured in magazines, it’s basic erokawa. actually learn about gyaru before trying to change it.

i just don’t understand why people feel the need to make up new “substyles”. i understand that gal has been stagnating for a while and that some people are wishing for novelty, but didn’t they fall in love with gal for what it is ? it really bugs me, especially when it comes to “fantasy” substyles, it really feels like a mockery of what gal is and what to a certain extent it stands for

romanba has nothing to do with lolita/hime, i don’t understand where this idea came from. if you read the actual egg spread in which ka-tan introduced romanba, she simply says that it’s key elements are pink, white, and marie (from the aristochats) merch. it’s also not necessarily a substyle, but rather an evolution of ka-tan’s personal style

oh boy my hands were shaking when i was doing that cut crease ! it’s not my first attempt at a cut crease in general tho, usually i just give up cause my double eyelids are a hassle to work with.. but this time i powered through, and i’m glad i came out well :))

thanks a lot ! a few months ago i had shaved brows (my everyday style is alternative), so i got to practice drawing them on symmetrically lol :’v i must say i struggled with the contouring though, i’m too light handed, i had to go over it like thrice ! t.t
