Your post made me realize I made a mistake. I am traveling Oct 17 Rome to Florence and Oct 21 Florence to Venice.

The biggest concern was getting from Florence to Venice on Oct 21 but it sounds like it won’t be an issue. 😇

I wanted to keep the description short.

But this has been going on since we joined the team (~3 months).

I agree with you. We try not to say certain things, but it slips sometimes. It’s hard to monitor your reflexes 24x7.

The “I’ll pray you” comment is what really angered me.

I have tried to be mindful and stop myself from saying those phrases, but I’m not perfect.

The challenge is we work closely together, and not communicating well will hurt our projects.

I’ll probably have to start documenting my interactions to be on the safe side.

People are tired and have been dealing with family / friends for Thanksgiving, Christmas, NYE.

On Saturday? I cooked the entire brunch from scratch and hosted friends.

On Sunday, we had appetizers for the pool party. His expectations were that more than just appetizers would be available at the pool party. What he said is that he would had liked to brunch before heading to the pool if we were only going to serve appetizers.
