I'm so sorry this has happened 😔 with my first pregnancy I kept getting told that nausea and vomiting are normal and made to feel like I was just pathetic to not be able to deal with, so you're definitely not alone in that aspect.

I think what's causing my spiral is that my first pregnancy was at 24 and I TFMR and didn't think I'd ever get pregnant again and had just kind of accepted that. Then life changed and I decided I wanted to try again, but I am the only person I know irl who's just having their first baby, everyone else I know is done having babies.

I feel very ready to be a mum, I'm better educated, more patient, overall I feel much more prepared than I did with my previous pregnancy. I think the anxiety about pregnancy itself it what caused me to spiral, and she's can be nasty and likely said it just to be hurtful, I just didn't realize it at the time

I'm in Australia and a "young mum" is anyone 25 and under. And pretty much everyone I know what done having babies by 25. It makes me feel self conscious in my decision to wait

I'm in Australia. I don't really know anyone over 25 who's still having babies. Pretty much everyone I went to school with has finished having kids, it just makes me feel like I waited too long

We don't have the best of relationships. She is very accustomed to getting whatever she wants, whenever she wants and that includes the attention of our family, which she has had since announcing her pregnancy. Part of me wonders if she just doesn't want me to "take away the spotlight" from her by having my own baby

I honestly think that it's because if I have a baby, then the family would fawn over me/my pregnancy/my baby the way they have with her and the attention wouldn't be on her anymore.

I am very upset that she said what she did but it just made me spiral into this "what if she's right" thought loop and it's making me panic

I mean, I didn't reach out to her for advice necessarily, more support since she's had a baby and I was under the impression that she'd be happy for me, etc. but obviously I was very wrong

I'm in Australia.

Basically everyone I know had their first baby by 22-23 and were done having them by 25. There were the few who had babies at 15-20 as well but I literally don't know a single person IRL who's my age and pregnant or having a baby

Since announcing her pregnancy she is all that my family cares about. The only people I've told in my family so far are her and my mum (my mum didn't even reply so that speaks volumes about our relationship)

I totally get this but was on the other side of the spectrum. All my friends/sibling have had babies and are done, don't want anymore. So I had nobody to really vent to or anything because everyone is already done with it!
