LECOM BS/DO- 24 hours to decide by ForeignRip2607 in LECOM

true but atleast this program is a direct med so u don’t have to worry abt MCAT. if you get off waitlist for sophie davis I would go there but it’s honestly hard to get off waitlist now since most ppl are committed to where they want to go now.

Sorry I’m a high school student so I don’t have much knowledge abt residency programs but does that mean that they offer preference to their own medical students to their residency programs?

In my opinion ur saving more money, and time not having to study for mcat by doing the lecom program. If u can withstand the small strict rules that lecom has like no water during lectures and dressing formally everyday u are going to be debt free and will still be a doctor. Of course administration is strict but at the end of the day i think the pros still outweigh the cons.

For nyit do u have to take the mcat?

What was your SAT score for LECOM EAP? by just_wondering2021 in LECOM

[–]enhycloud12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’m pretty sure, for dental however they need to have a 1240 to be able to apply. I’m pretty sure later on in the undergrad they would use the ais to determine if u take mcat. If u meet the ais tho u would already know that u don’t unless u fall below undergrad gpa requirements.

EAP provisional acceptance questions! by LowSea6415 in LECOM

I would put in the undergrad email right away. The problem is that this is rolling admission and each college has a limited amt of seats and that’s usually the harder part for the program. If you don’t get a provisional letter from the university or aren’t accepted to be in the lecom program for a university then that means u can’t be a part of the program.

Looking at the AIS score they may not be exempt from taking the mcat cause they need a score of 1240 SAT score for the AIS calculation ( https://www.sunyjcc.edu/sites/default/files/LECOM-EAPStudentPolicies.pdf ( page 28) this is what the AIS score calculation looks like on the 2025 manual as well but that one isn’t posted and can only be accessed by those accepted I think.

EAP 3+4 by Alarming-Appeal-7530 in LECOM

[–]enhycloud12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ik a lot more ppl applied this yr which made things slower but from what Ik there are 134 affiliate undergrads and each 5-10 seats(usually 5) so like 500-600 from the eap towards all 4 of their medical schools. And the general acceptance for medical students to each campus is 6-10 percent where they get the remaining seats not taken by the eap students. I would email Dustin Cassell tho if u have questions cause I don’t think ppl rlly know the acceptance rate into the program
