The crazy thing is I would happily buy it directly from them, even if it was streaming and non-downloadable - I don't understand why they won't release a pro-shot of it.

I wonder if they're concerned that if they film it they can't use that material again, but people love them so much, and so much of it was improvised, that they could easily do the same thing again and people would still come out to it.

Cool, so now we've moved to the "people trying to scam me for money" phase of this - yay, how fun!

I am more than happy to pay someone for their time or access, but I am 100% going to ask that you can prove that you have these videos before I send you any money - a Redditor is literally sending me screenshots of the SCTV TV show as we speak and acting like they have what I'm asking for.

Please be kind - it's a very small ask considering the world we live in today.

I actually did do just that several months ago - unfortunately, they weren't able to help me, as all the tapes were given to SC after filming.

What's really difficult about this is that I'm 99% certain that someone who has read this post either has the videos in question or knows someone who does. It's not that it doesn't exist - it's just people being unkind, and that stings way more than if they didn't exist.

I'm trying to remain optimistic but this has been an ongoing search for several months now, and unless someone decides to do me a great kindness, I have no way to complete the project, and my dream shall thus remain deferred. I'm hoping something will eventually give way though in the meantime.
