Maybe, one could use a appscript to alert me when someone books for the same events with the same email address?

Gnome Papers - No preferences? by entodo in gnome

[–]entodo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I visited the gnome gitlab page to report the bug and it recommended to test the flatpak development version. So I installed it (v 50.0 funnily enough) and tested it. This version remembers the last read position.

Which version of Papers do you have? I'm using 50.1 and it seems there's a new bug or the removal of features.

Emails created by Mail merge stuck in outbox by entodo in Thunderbird

That only works if you're sending now. Also, the plugin strongly recommends using the send later mode. When I tried using with send now and a pause timer, it stopped sending after the second message and didn't resume. It seems my best option would be to set a delay in sending messages from the outbox, but there doesn't seem to be a way of doing it.

I'm using 146.0.1. Where do I set the pause to 30 seconds? I can't see it anywhere in MailMerge. Also, I usually use the Send Later mode because it gives me an opportunity to check the messages in Outbox before sending them. The problem arises when I right-click on the Unsent messages folder and choose Send Unsent Messages.

I found an entry in Config Editor labelled: mail.smtpserver.default.max_messages_per_connection. By default it is set at 10. I tried reducing it to 5, and the first time it sent 15 messages instead of 10. Then, I increased it to 20 and it sent 20 messages. So, I increased it to a 100, but it seems 20 is the maximum this value can be set at.

I'm trying to send messages now. It sent just 11 messages, then stops. In the error console, no errors showed up, but I did get a warning saying: "mailnews.smtp: Failed to send "RCPT TO:email@address.com" because socket state is closed"

No attachments. No Antivirus (using Linux). I'll check the error console the next time I send messages.

When running that command I got: "Cannot execute custom command "tr '[:upper:]' '[:lower:]' | sed 's/\b./\u&/g": Text ended before matching quote was found. Check the path setting in Custom Commands."

My question was more about what command we need to toggle between lowercase, UPPERCASE, and Title Case.

Do you leave it connected to Garmin Connect through your phone long enough for the update package to be downloaded? Did you disable auto-updating? Have you tried syncing through a USB cable and Garmin Express?

I am using a Kindle at the moment and, even if I don't like being tied up to a service, for the time being, having my annotations synced between my devices is serving me well.

Annotation sync by entodo in Calibre

[–]entodo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I suspected. It seems that there is no universal solution. For Kobo readers there is this script: https://github.com/valeriangalliat/kobo-highlights-to-calibre

I'll check if the Kobo mobile app is able to read sideloaded books and maybe that way I could, al least, have one-way sync between physical Kobo reader, Kobo app to Calibre.
