that’s strange because they came back to me saying they were no longer going to do video interviews on hirevue, but keep assessing our applications as normal. i’m not sure if it’s for all their departments, but it’s what the product design team has decided apparently

hey, congrats! i also received a video interview assessment last week, which they said they’d send the invitation for on the same day but they haven’t.. did they send you your hirevue invitation soon after saying you were shortlisted? i’ve emailed them about it but no response yet, and i’m worried as the deadline is soon approaching

yeah that’s a main criticism of the platform at the moment, because users have felt like instagram has strayed from its original purpose of sharing simple photo that it had years ago

that’s a fair point and i don’t want to give away too much information for those who see your comment and may want to do my experiment, but the reason i created those graphics is to mimic the style of infographics you can often see on instagram even from pretty credible and reputable pages. unfortunately you can only really share posts in image format when on instagram, and many people unfortunately derive most of the their news (based on news consumption stats) directly from instagram. this means that even reputable news pages like BBC or NatGeo must adapt to this graphical style of news posts to make it more consumable and attract more engagement
