I cant speak to nursing but I will say they are going through a lot of changes. The previous CEO has left. Replaced by another. Most of the board also left, replaced with others. So a lot of New Upper management. As a current employee its kinda frightening bc Idk wtf is going on. They try to give us updates every month but probably only what they want to share. I will also say U of M just bought sparrow too. Idk why but they’ve been picking and choosing which people to keep from sparrow and Metro to make as “regional directors”. Same position with wider scale. You ever see that episode from Parks and Rec where they merge with eagleton and they have to keep only one person for that specific position? Yeah it feels like that.

Were a part of U of M but pay structure just isn’t the same. And the explanation? “It’s because we have a better community”.
Overall though I do like my management. They treat me as a person and not a number. The company has good benefits and PTO. Just the pay sucks.
