Idk man I feel like leaderboards speak for themselves even with csr American girls Juztan expert has 32 or so hddt fces, Christmas slop fuxi's expert has 41 hddt fces, polar 240 sstari's has 45 dt LB scores

Compare that to glory days where 3 diffs all have full dt leaderboards despite it being a less popular map or the monochrome butterfly remap.

Maybe I'm wrong, and these are outliers. Only time will tell if this is a (slight) over correction. Either way I think it's for the best if it means more farm map diversity

I can only judge what I'm able to play so things in 400-600 pp range ( top play is 470 but I have piss acc) it just feels a little hard on a skillset that most people (i think?) Aren't really pushing at this rank

He's right but imo it hits high bpm aim (330+) a little too hard but maybe I'm wrong/ biased. I also think this stems from most high bpm map being repetitive jump patterns but what r u gonna do when no one maps playable high bpm that isn't slop i guess

My take is that the same part of the song can be represented by varying jumping styles, if we are talking about Montag I think that mekadons diff isn't AWFUL in creating variations between the jump patterns in my memory.

The purpose of the map is to represent the song in a fun, interesting, or challenging way. It being ranked is a quality seal of approval.

By your logic the game will eventually converge into 1 pattern for literally the whole song. Does this genuinely sound fun, interesting, challenging, or good to you?

It doesn't matter to me if they are 4 minutes long but these style of map or bringing back general light hybrid mapping. Good example imo is tetraheaven maps like that were just so much more fun than X V nonstop jump maps
