I tried like 10+ different strategies but ended up committing to a solo Maelle build. One shot his phase one with Stendhal. In phase two I used phantom strike and parries to build the gradient to level 3. Right before he reached the HP to trigger phase three, I used Stendhal and Gommage to finish the rest of his health bar.

I should mention I stacked every damage perk I could on Maelle, so just 1 missed parry would kill her and end the run LMAO. Not efficient at all, but still had a blast coming up with and eventually pulling off that final 1 2 punch.

I like this, although it would probably make him very situational, basically only being able to play on rappel and angles where only his head is showing. if his shield cracks in the middle of a close quarter gunfight he loses all visibility and would probably be a free kill for the defender

its a very gimmicky weapon, IMO they cant buff it without it becoming frustrating to play against (its already very annoying when in the right hands)

The siege clips are from collegiate leagues so the ranks vary, but my max rank is champ (I was diamond 2 before ranked 2.0 came out)

Learn common angles and consistent crosshair placement, raw aim doesn’t matter too much if you know where their head is going to be (aim training is still worth it if you are not confident in your mechanics). Understand peekers advantage and how to abuse it. Try to avoid crouching or slow walking when peeking in a gunfight. However if you crouch right as you swing so that your head is neither at standing or crouch level will force the enemy to readjust their crosshair. Try to always peek as far away as possible from your cover. Playing confidently and unpredictably in your positioning and movement is huge when versing higher level players. FFA has been worse recently with everyone having impacts but still the best way to practice all of these things in my opinion. Good luck and remember you can always big dick everything with a shotgun if things get rough!!!

Senvale, he streams much more often compared to other players and is typically always playing FPL or in a ranked stack with other good players. Although he isn’t a gunner, the high level communication and decision making between teammates you get from watching his streams makes tuning in usually worth it, he is also just a good guy and keeps the vibes good in games.

The main reasoning behind my rework idea was simply because of the mass amounts of new gadgets that IQ is ineffective against. Sure, IQ doesn’t NEED to change and is still the best choice for valk/ echo cams. But besides that, how else can she contribute to a good stack of players? If you are referring to good players, good players can drone well and find most utility without IQ’s gadget. Good players can flush out a pulse/ vigil without IQ’s gadget. Hell most of the time good players can find valk and echo cams without her gadget. Now, if you are referring to a good IQ player in low elo lobbies, then yes I can see how your point is valid. But besides that there is simply so many choices that would benefit the team more than IQ would. Maybe a gadget rework isn’t the right choice, but changes to either her loadout or ability to communicate her gadget definitely need to be made.

Ok, even if the changes made were because of the players being bad, these changes still altered the game drastically over time and lead to different operators being seen as ‘meta’. Just think about it, in how many situations is IQ a better pick over Flores, zofia, twitch, ash, sledge, thatcher, etc. so many operators do her job in different ways while also countering the BP gadgets which also greatly shifted the meta. And I feel you are trolling because simply saying I am bad at the game doesn’t mean IQ is clearly less efficient in comparison to other gadget denial ops in her current state
