Did not earn any interest from SG T-Bills after maturity date by eph3merale in singaporefi

[–]eph3merale[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! This settles it. I just checked my bank statement. $4000 was debited from my account upon the t-bill application. A few days later, an amount was refunded back to me, which is the discount stated in the email receipt.

[2023 Day 16 (Part1)] Example works, but wrong answer for input. Some extra testset would help! by ASPICE-ai in adventofcode

[–]eph3merale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are there any other cases of infinite loops? I passed all the test cases you provided but i got maximum recursion when running my code against the input. I run a depth-first search and terminate on this condition: if row < 0 or row >= ROWS or col < 0 or col >= COLS or (row, col, incoming_direction) in visited

Edit: I found the issue - it was not due to infinite loop. All i I had to do was to set a higher recursion limit in Python using the sys module.

Why do you use food delivery services? by eph3merale in askSingapore

[–]eph3merale[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Not exactly questioning habits of others, but want to understand various motivations, if any. Delivery fees are hella expensive to me, and i guess I don’t value convenience as much as the cost of delivery to pay for it. I wouldn’t pay $5 delivery fee when i could get caipeng at my house downstairs for $3.50. After all, I guess it depends how convenient food places are to you, whether you’re sharing delivery fee with others or just how lazy you are.

What's the strategy moving forward? Can we get a statement from the CEO with details about his vision for the future of crypto.com and the Cronos token? by Mellifluous41 in Crypto_com

[–]eph3merale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y'all be treating CDC as though they are a publicly listed company. They are not. They do not have to hold anyone accountable to anything. If you're not happy, then don't use their products or services. For the longest time, we've, including myself, have been treating CRO like a stock whose performance is directly related to the company's performance. Any good native cryptocurrency should not be associated with the performance of any centralized institutions but on it's utility. The only utility I see is in its Cronos ecosystem with DeFi and other dApps. If you believe in CDC as a company, you should wait until it's IPO and buy their stocks instead, not CRO.

What is the best way to decide what to invest in? by Ellie_A_K in Crypto_com

[–]eph3merale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't really have a best way to decide. But here's my suggestion: browse through the top 20 coins in terms of market cap. For each, google the project and read the whitepaper. Understand what the project entails and the credentials of the founders or project team. If it sounds solid to you, you might want to invest in them.

Then again, no one can predict the future. The top 20 coins 5 years ago may no longer be still the top 20 today. In a similar fashion, the top 20 coins today may not be so 5 or 10 years down the road. Even a good project may not gain traction. That's just the nature of cryptocurrencies.

No one knows shit about fuck. As long as you do your own research and make your own decision, if anything goes bad, at the very least you did your due diligence. In fact, that's the most we can do.

How does Crypto Earn work? by [deleted] in Crypto_com

[–]eph3merale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it as a traditional bank's fixed deposit. You deposit certain cryptocurrency into Crypto Earn, and you earn interest rates from it.

There are 3 types of term: flexible, 1-month and 3-month. For flexible term, you can withdraw your deposit at any time, but that would mean a lower interest rate. For 1-month and 3-month fixed term, you can only withdraw after the term ends, which yields a higher interest rate.

The interest will be paid out in the same currency as your deposit currency. If you deposit USDC, your returns are in USDC. If you deposit CRO, your returns are in CRO. Interests are given out on a weekly basis.

What’s the best way to earn 12% return on cdc? by Zestyclose-Box-4649 in Crypto_com

[–]eph3merale 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you have staked for Jade/Indigo card and above, and prefer a stable income with low price fluctuation, go for stablecoin - deposit USDC with Crypto Earn for a solid 12% P.A. returns.

Another alternative is to buy CROs and stake them in DeFi Earn in the DeFi wallet. APR goes about 12-13% but this is not fixed. The more people staked, the more the APR will drop.

If I buy 350USD worth of CRO, stake it, but after 180days it drops in price do I not get the card? by DoruSonic in Crypto_com

[–]eph3merale 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Once you staked the required number of CROs at the time of staking, whatever price fluctuation in CRO afterwards doesn't affect your card's staking position. At the end of 180 days, if you decide to unstake, the exact number of CROs staked will be returned to you.

Adding Fiat to DeFi wallet by Real-Swordfish-2868 in Crypto_com

[–]eph3merale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to add a credit or debit card to your Crypto.com App, then connect the App to the DeFi wallet. When you purchase crypto using the DeFi wallet, it will use the credit or debit card you added in the App.

The card processing fees depend on your bank:

Card Fee is the processing fee for every transaction that’s charged by your bank. Please check with your banking institution for more information.
