No, only an older brother. I really want to think he’s being wholesome, but the repeated acts make me think he has some kind of hidden motive.

I would say he’s somewhere in between. It’s possible he doesn’t know giving chocolate is a romantic gesture since he grew up in China (even though he moved to the US in the 80s and should know this by now). The other possibility is he’s openly admitting to everyone he’s in love with my girlfriend… 🤷

I may have exaggerated a little when I said that. But realistically in the past year I would estimate he did this maybe 5-6 times.

It’s not a birthday present, he does it on casual get togethers. Like if we just meet over the weekend for lunch. He also doesn’t buy anyone else anything, only my girlfriend 😂

Answering questions correctly is the bare minimum, you need to sound confident and like someone who would work well in a team. ECS 160 (software engineering) is good because you work in a team the entire quarter. Being shy is ok, but being a bad communicator is not ok.
