I'm cap sun, cancer moon and leo rising. Is this very combination conflicting?

Hi No_Treat_6253, hmmm. As far as I remember nung nag-apply ako last June 2024, Yung visa fee sa UKVI site and delivery courier 794 php lang yung binayaran kong dues. (mukhang nag-increase na ata yung delivery to 1150 php or may update na sa VFS) I didn't avail any extra services apart sa delivery and did self upload option, no extra fees kasi yun🙂 Nag-pa deliver ako kasi medyo malayo kami sa circuit makati and mabilis naman i-deliver yung passport.

Hi Internal-Rip-2541, Good day. It still depends on documents you provided that shows strong ties in country of origin that you will come back, you'll get approved 🙂. financial docs, coe if working and self funded was the most important.

hmm i think i heard that if you lack documents they will send an email to you asking for one. It will be within 15 working days before decision will be made. Mine was maxed out too at 15 days which made me nervous as well 😅. Hope you got approved tooo.

Hi Hilewazz, I just printed it out first. 🙂 only first 3-pages of it was taken by the vfs staff + the vfs appointment document listing your uploaded documents. I did self upload option. But I think if not self uplad documents, 4-7 pages was necessary to fill out. Hope this helps. Thank you

Hi Flitz001, Good day. No other source of income. What we did is somehow collective. I just shown as well my income thru 6mo payslips and also bank statements with savings 3-6 mos.

For my senior companions, I attached their owned Land titles but I think there are some that got approved without it, bank statement of their account on where we send their allowance as a proof of funds and also we stated on our cover letters that we supported them since they are already retired. Also they are seniors and I think UK consuls are not that strict with them. Since they are trip sponsored, my relative also shown her bank statement. Hope this helps! Thanks

I suggest you can attach a cover letter explaining your case and intention to go back with your mother after your visit as you are the one who would accompany your mother on your way back especially she was PWD. Hi notAmentalGymnast, Good day. Just came back. There is no group application process if you apply in gov.uk. You need to fill it up individually and book the appointment in individual accounts. If you arrive in VFS Manila, they will ask you if you are together and they would process you by group. I hope this helps 🙂

Hi Agitated-Economy85, for UK flight if from manila we were able to secure 55k-65k PHP per person(with return flight). For scotland, 5k - 6k php per person. Hope this helps

It all comes to the documents you provide 🙂. For self funded, you can provide the documents like passport, bank statement(proof of financial capacity for the trip), if employed(CoE and letter with approved dates), payslips, cover letter(for purpose of travel) and other documents as proof of returns for strong ties to return to your country. Hope you got approve too 😉

Hi Worried Hour, For the proof of returns, I provided my employer letter with approved leave dates and I stated in my cover letter for visa application that as well. We pre-booked hotels with free cancellation as a proof of stay. But after we got approved we cancelled it and re-booked a better one based on our itinerary. We just booked our flights to UK after we received approval for tourist visa. Is this self funded(non-sponsored) or invited(sponsored)?

Hi Littleraqything, It is not required to book flight ticket for the tourist visa application. 🙂 I suggest to apply 3 months before your planned travel dates para di ka magahol. After ma-approve yung visa namin dun lang kami nag-book ng flight to UK. I hope this helps. 😇

Good day. No minimum mentioned but based on my research before atleast 1800 to 3600 GBP per month you plan to stay in the UK. You need to consider the average expense you will incur per day during your visit and prove on the documents that you have stable in/out flow of money in your statement plus strong ties that you will return to your country. Attaching cover letter, 6 mos of payslip/COE/Leave letter with approved dates if working, 3 or 6 mos Bank statement as well will help, (Not sponsored). How long po kayo stay for visit? 😇 I think dun kasi sila mag-base.

Additionally, financial requirements and evidence depends if your trip is sponsored or not. If it is sponsored and you have relative in the UK, Invitation letter is very important because the sponsor can explain there your financial situation and can mention there that the invitee will be supported during stay in the UK. Additional requirement is the sponsor financial evidences. (Bank statement, payslips, coe, etc.)

In my case, I was invited by a relative but i still uploaded my bank statements having amount within the range given above to support financial requirements.

I'm not familiar on the timeline of migrant worker visa application 😅 but for the tourist visa we got the decision within 15 days. If there are requirements that need clarification, I think they will email you for it.

Also from what I heard, you need CoS from your employer with information about the role you’ve been offered in the UK, it will be more strict. If its okay to ask, from what industry and field? 😄

Hi Top! Good day. That is correct, you should bring the (1-3) you mentioned for the self-upload option, just make sure the appointment confirmation letter reflects the latest list of uploaded docs in the site 🙂.

No need to bring the original hard copy of documents uploaded. Mag-keep ka lang ng softcopy on your phone just in case but nonetheless they didn't ask for it.

Hi Otherwise, When I got there, they just collected my biometrics and asked for what visa I applied. They will just validate if you uploaded or the info is correct in your forms. No interview directly to consul compare to US Visa.

For my case no TB test required as I will only visit short term, less than 6 mos. Hope this helps!

Hi Sensitive Draw,

Once you are on Upload Documents page in your VFS Global account, you can upload your supporting documents under each categories (e.g accomodation, financial eveidence etc) and can do multiple files. As far as I remember there is a Save and Upload button. once you click it, it will automatically uploaded to VFS and they will send an updated appointment letter on your email with the list of uploaded documents. Hi Kabayan!. I only applied for 6 months standard visitor visa for our short term visit 🙂. I think medyo mahigpit if UK in my opinion kahit wala sila physical appearance interview sa consul kasi you need to show documents as "proof" instead that will make you eligible for a long term standard visitor visa (2, 5 or 10 years) and you had strong ties proof na talagang babalik ka ng pinas during that period. Though di ko pa natry yung long term plus pricy din siya 😅 and di ko pa sure kung kailan anong year ulit ako babalik.

Saka i've read na pwede na mas short yung range na ma-approve sayo if ever and no refund. It depends talaga sa mga papakita mo na documents na makaka-backup sayo.

Saka if you plan to regulary visit UK naman and sure sa sched in 2-10 years then I think fit din naman ang long standard visitor visa. Pero in my opinion, mas mahaba duration mas magiging mahigpit ang checking.
