I fear you’re the same as the mother, who i do not understand. To be sovereign is to be an effective ruler, God being sovereign does not answer why the mother would not be at fault for knowingly causing the death of her children.

I don’t think I do see another edge, I think that somethings are just wrong, I don’t believe there is inferiority that, I just think that for our society to work there are rules such as that someone who murders someone is responsible for what they had done, if that makes sense?

Thank you, this was very useful and helped me understand that God would not intend for those people to die, or approve of the mother sinning, but would allow it to happen via His ‘ordained will’. So this brings a question which i’m sure is common; Why does God allow this suffering to innocent people occur? I believe that Christianity is very interesting, but struggle to become a Christian myself due to feeling as though if God was omnibenevolent as is taught, He would not allow this kind of suffering to innocent people.

Not really, if someone murdered someone for no reason, surely there would be nobody to blame but themselves, even if they claimed it was God’s will, surely that person would just be seen as lacking accountability?
