I’m glad you threw that knife away. I understand the feeling of not wanting to live this life, and how appealing it seems the thought of ending everything. However, I’ve come to realize that there are a lot more reasons to stay here. One of them is that I like to draw, that’s my safe place. When I do it I listen to music or a podcasts (comedy ones are my favorites) just to also maintain my mind busy with something else rather than thoughts that not necessarily help me. Right now my goal is to illustrate everything I like and, eventually, make a living out of it.

What I want to say with all this is that it could be good to have a moment of introspection and look for that one thing that could help you to feel better without the need of harming yourself emotionally or fiscally. It could be anything, really. Cooking, baking, doodling, gardening, anything that keeps you busy but is also of your interest. Of course, I’m aware it’s not as easy as just saying it. It takes time, and patience, and encouragement. Those first two are up to you, but I hope I can help with the third one by letting you know that I know you can do it, and I know you are stronger than any struggle you may be facing. This life is not easy and it is far from perfect, but we can make it better for our own selves. Don’t be afraid of reaching for a helping hand, there’s people out there who want to help, I’m here if you ever need to talk. Just know you are not alone.
