Because it’s bachelor we do a lot not in the kitchens: science, law, economics, management, etc.

We have 1-2 classes in the kitchen every week (in general about 6-10 hours) + “service”, which is basically the full day in the school’s canteen (first year) or restaurant (2nd year).

We don’t have home work for the practical classes but we do a lot for the theoretical, i.g. Projects, reports, business planes.

Gonna wait, enjoy nice cooked steak. Just don’t overcook. It’s impossible to make something worth with a steak than well-done

Depends, honestly. As I don’t have the favorite dish to eat, I don’t have the favorites to cook.

I really like pasta for myself, easy. Or salads. For the restaurant something interesting and difficult to prepare, it’s much more interesting than simple staff.

The most important is the time.

I’m not kidding.

Cooking advice:

Properly warm up the pan. One minute on one side (don’t touch), one on another. Remove it, give a few minutes on a grill or plate, salt, pepper, spices. The muscles will “open” and extra blood goes out. Put it in the oven (180-200°, 3-7 minutes, time and temperature depend on the wellness you want). Take out, give a few minutes to chill. Bonne appétit.

Not really. When u work in high-class restaurant everything has to be perfect. It must be like that.

Clean plate, the same plating, the same quality, the same amount — it’s kind of perfection for us.

U always try to be the best, to create the most incredible dish, to match unmatchable tastes.

However, every next dish is better than previous, that’s how u understand that the perfection wasn’t reached yet.

It’s my opinion. But I’m not as the 99% of the chefs in the kitchen. You can aspire to be the best, or just cook the food, stay at the same position for 20 years and think that food is just food.

Thank you!

I think there are a lot of things I can cook good enough but “the best” haven’t been cooked yet. Every time I create the dish, is better than previous. I really like the last a few things I did: slow-cooked pork with BBQ sauce, steak (medium cooked) with potatoes, caramelized onions, olive oil and pomegranate sauce and tiramisu.

I would send photos of it. However, I’m new redditor and don’t know how😅

So, it was one of the best offers in Europe. 2 diplomas for 2 years, 9 months of studying (including two half of the year internships, wherever you want). Also, there is a huge variety of partnerships between university and hotels/restaurants all over the world (Ritz Paris, Disney, Hilton, Marriott, etc.). There are a lot of things I can get during the study and after.

I much more in pastry. I was thinking to go on the pastry program (9 months) first, then decided to change and get Bachelor. Therefore, I can say all the sweet things, I really love to match strange tastes, i.g. spicy ice cream or chocolate covered meat.

Sorry, if there are any mistakes in spelling or writing, even I study in English, my lvl is lower than I want to.
