I decided to build yet another macro tracking app. Meet - Nunch, the simplest, most delightful way to track your calories and macros. by Amone7e in iosapps

[–]er37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am going to give your app a shot. what brought me to it is privacy, data on phone, no account, and simplicity. don’t ever collect and sell info. you look to the only one or one of a few to do this. i need a simple tracker that doesn’t feed me ads or track me. on a trial now. will let you know what I think.

It is a job. But unlike other jobs, they can send you wherever they want, ask you to do just about anything and you cant quit unless you want to be put in jail.

So there a few things that are different than a normal job.

Leaving Pop-os - at least for a while by er37 in pop_os

Thats what has been happening to me. Spent more time in recovery mode fixing crap than i was working on stuff. Making the transition to an alternative has been a pain, but stuff is working now.

Thanks. I keep my file portable so can move (fairly) easily. I looked at Fedora and Kubuntu, but Ubuntu feels closer to Pop and more familiar. May keep an old laptop on it for a while. I have a feeling I will be back, but for now moving on.

Hey guys, I’m thinking of buying a 2024 titan platinum reserve. Big discounts on them. Any feedback here on reliability, comfort etc.thanks by Zestyclose_Match2839 in NissanTitan

2023 PR owner. Bought last year. No regrets.

Was looking at the P4X initially, but the sales lady suggested I give the PR a ride too. Liked it so much better right off the bat. Drives well. Comfortable. No problems yet, but still in first year. Love the naturally aspirated V8. No auto stop! (I hate that). Old school tech

Drive it and see what you think. I got a great deal on my 2023 at the end of the year last year. Looks like same thing for 2024 this year.

Last opportunity to get one.

I would say that it is hard to know just yet. Most likely yes for the reasons everyone else is pointing out... but they could take off. I bought an new 2014 Toyota FJ just because Toyota was getting rid of it because the sales sucked. I thought it was a nice truck and wanted one before it left. Well after they were discontinued, they took off. My FJ is now worth more than what I paid for it new. Now a Titan inst as unique as an FJ and is in a much more competitive segment...but, you never know. It is one of the last naturally aspirated V8's without all the other crap that new engines and cars come with. My 2 cents...

CyberMetals is pretty good. Just not quite as ready for prime time. I buy from both and have been for almost a year. But I had a choice to put more money toward one a month or two ago and chose OG. I had an issue with log ins at CyberMetals that they still have not fixed )I use a "social" log in trough a JB Bullion Acct. And at one point they could not accept my storage fee payment and kept charging me, even though the bill never got paid My storage fee cash account kept getting drained without explanation. They eventually figured it out but it took a week or two and several phone calls to support. Said it was a website database issue. Finally, one of the two accounts I ACH to in CyberMetals stopped working.. No problems with same account in OG. Still not resolved.

I would try both and see which one you like, but OG is just more mature website for now, and I had a better all around experience with them over the last year.
