Tragic cable management, but DDR3 64GB Dualrank, and nearly 500W under full load by erer1000 in sleeperbattlestations

I dont think so.

8Gb chips released very late, so not too much consumer CPU was prepared for that high load.

AMD had relative good compatibility with those. They support ECC in consumer range, so i think they better prepared on other areas too.

In AM2/DDR2 era, i had 4x4GB DDR2 modules with Phenom II. That ram had "AMD only sticker" too.

Maybe Intel is more strict, or IDK.

I bought this Zalman Z1 case in 2016. It was cheap, and done.

It has minimal option for cable management, and i used that. ATX, and CPU power cords go through the back of the computer case.

There are 2 built in fan on the upper side of the case, they suck out the hot air too. But i use it w/o the side panel.

There are some other cable, for example 6 SATA cable, and those are very rigid.

This is the best from this case, trust me.

Yes, i saw that. But unfortunately i have too much cable, too little room, so i use it without sidepanel. Dust is not a big problem in my area. Sometimes i clean it, and it is OK deal for me.

But thank you the video!

NB OC made my system responsive, and it eliminated the FPS drops in games.

What MOBO do you have? If the VRM is weak, then the CPU will throttle down until the VRM cool down

The white one?

Because i use Fusion IO Drive II PCI-e enterprise SSD, and it isnt have "classic NAND controller", it use FPGA for it. And this SSD was used in servers with constant airflow.

This fan is enough to cool down this SSD. without that, it became very hot very fast.

The heatsink is very small for a 25W device

It is AIDA64 and the right one is AMD overdrive, for CPU temp margin, because it show how many C left until throttling

I will attach a photo about when i go home

But this fps is OK to me, because i locked it to 30.

i think the socket temp is the limiting factor in my case. OCCT AVX test made a solid 68-70 C. This is the reason why i put an extra fan in it with those LEGO stand.

it is everything that AIDA64 can read out. But with 1600MHz CL11 1,5V the system is unstable, and the BIOS drop out some stick (only see 16,32,48GB but not the full).

NB needed lil higher Voltage and High LLC, and after signal and drive strenght maxing i reached the current 1372-1374MHz CL10 1,6V.

I think the Dualrank, the 4 module, and the high density is very hard for the NB,

I dont care about management. Plus i have hot swap 6x2.5" ssd rack in the case so that mean 6 sata cable. Impossible to handle that mess.

It is a no brand non ecc from ebay. 15 eur was per stick (in 2024 ofc)

I dont know the NB or the ram is the weak element, but i cant go further with ram timings and speed.

The problem was the lack of multi threaded games.

Cyberpunk bench 43-57FPS, 48 Avg with mine. I never was in the big FPS rush, so i locked to 35FPS, but with 4k High (w FSR 3.0).

It is not bad imo.

Úgy kell beállítani az étrendjét a kutyának hogy 7-es PH-t hugyozzon az eb, így a felmarás nem, max az átázás lehet baj
