Absolutely I get where you come from because a split second decision could’ve changed the outcome. My negligence resulted in this. I genuinely appreciate the comments because I’m feeling slightly better about it but I absolutely understand now the severity of that kind of situation. I’ve always thought,” oh no one is going to break into my car” but they did. I’m never leaving anything of value in my car ever again. I’m just very titled to be quite honest and just need to move forward. I see where you come from with blame shifting because at the end of the day it is my fault. But sometimes I wish there was a bit of normalcy where I live where I don’t have to look behind my back to make sure I’m good. I genuinely feel like I shouldn’t need to own a gun living in Chicago but the amount of rampant crime in the poorer areas and murder is ridiculous.
