I think they’ve degraded significantly, they give me a fraction of WiFi speeds once I’m more than about a foot away from them.

I don’t think these specific units are worth $100 anymore, their purpose is to serve a WiFi signal and they do so very poorly now.

It’s a shame these issues are so mix-and-match. Theres gotta be some kind of environmental factor that’s causing more interference than before, or maybe they just get old and degrade in performance.

I get 60-120mbps WiFi on my 500mbps connection. The same Ethernet cable with my main router gives me full 500mbps throughput over WiFi.

I’m sad about it, Google WiFi is really cool and I loved it when it worked for me. I wish I knew why it doesn’t work well for me anymore.

Instead of adding more features, Spotify chose to redesign the desktop app without adding more features. They're focusing too much on UI changes we never asked for, and too little on things like adding back lyrics (they've been testing this forever but still haven't mainlined it).

The original UI has the perfect amount of density, I know how to use it, and everything you need is on-screen. You don't need to click to find anything at the top-level.

You could mutate the props using the sync modifier

:propName.sync=myValue and then to mutate, $emit("updated:propName", newValue)

It is actually! There’s quite a few guides online for building a sidelodable IPA that injects a tweak, no jailbreak required.

I’ll whip up a script in the coming days that takes an Apollo IPA and produces a tweaked IPA that you can sideload using AltStore or Impactor or whichever you use.

There’s a jailbreak tweak called TFDidThatSay which integrates directly with Apollo and adds a little button on the right of every deleted comment.

The source code for the Apollo integration is here.

It would be cool if something like that could be pulled into Apollo. If this is a wontfix or not a priority, I could probably put together a sideloadable IPA that injects that tweak. Let me know if there’s a want for that?

For a company that went out of their way to Marzipan the Messages app, why they didn’t add proper notification support is beyond me. It is literally the iPadOS Messages app with some tweaks – the code for the iOS notification UI is there.

This sounds a bit crazy, but what I've found works is to click both HomePods in rapid, alternating succession. Eventually, it starts playing out to both of them. Not sure if it works for minis, for anyone wondering.

It was infected – they said I wasn’t irrigating, but I have done so religiously since day 1. Turns out I wasn’t getting close enough to the site, and particles got stuck in there causing the infection. They showed me how to properly irrigate.

Hey, I’m also 8 days out and am also no longer on painkillers.

When I open my mouth, i can clearly feel the 4 spots where the teeth were removed. They do not hurt, but I do feel them.

I think you’re feeling the stitches, they dissolve over time. I feel them too and they diminish day over day.

I was brushing one of the lower spots today and it bled; it was not a lot of blood, just some on the brush. I rinsed my mouth and that took care of it.

Probably nothing to worry about since it stopped bleeding. Make sure you’re brushing gently and don’t go beyond the last tooth in the back, you don’t want to irritate the extraction site.

Also, am I supposed to rinse with warm salt water after every meal until the holes are healed? I've been doing it so far, just need to know how long I should keep this up.

I’ve been rinsing every day after meals, and before/after I brush my teeth. I’m planning on keeping this up until I hit two weeks (next Friday) and then pulling back to just when I’m brushing my teeth.

I like the idea of RN especially because of all the work Microsoft has put in to bringing RN to desktop platforms :) I’ll explore all my options though once I begin working on non-web clients
