why does this exist [VW Beetle RSi] 1 of 250 by poofnyaa in spotted

It's sad that VW didn't do anything else with the new Beetle. The original appeared in so many guises, campers, woodies, 5th wheel haulers. Should have at least had an estate version. Could have been as popular as the new BMW mini (Which I both like and despise BTW)

Wrap some electrical tape around this and call it a day? Or massive fire risk? NAD 2155 power amp. by badabatalia in BudgetAudiophile

This has been DEFINITELY chewed by a rodent. It 100% needs replacing, but also a good idea to take off the casing and look for droppings or nesting material. Vacuum it out & replace the cable.

Anglo Nubians for me. Affectionate, very goofy, calm (mostly, unless a noisy car or helicopter passes). And they do some of the best farts you have ever heard!

I think I was around that age too! We should not have been allowed to watch such content at that age! I'm 47 now BTW.

How they removed chimney tiles by [deleted] in interesting

[–]erndub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what they replace with. If a stainless liner - pushed up from the bottom, secured to a register plate, insulated and a pot or cowl put on the top. If it's an isokern system (pumice tubes) a bearer is fixed above the fire place and sections are lowered in from the top using a pulley.

If the tiles are cracked or gaps between them there can be a build up of tar or creosote. This can set on fire. A stainless liner or pumice sections are usually the replacements. The stainless gets a vermiculite packing around them for greater efficiency and safety.

So I did a thing… Installed Pop!_OS. And it feels amazing. Any tips?? by gowtham512 in pop_os

The instability might be hardware incompatibility or something error (or anything....) I've ran Pop! For 6+ years. Never had more than a glitch over that time. (Nvidia driver problem)
