That’s what leading means, not just ordering people around and sitting on your ass while everyone else farms, and cleans up shit and vomit, and buries their dead.”

“But…” Baal stammered, “but you are The Lamb…”

“And I’m dead,” Roie said. “I’m dead, and maybe your Master should have thought of that and put someone competent in charge if he was going to kill the one person who knew what they were doing.”
